1. Cool! ( well cooler than london) Wish I was Scottish right now . The heat makes me say fumny things
2. My free premium spotify, will be running out soon.( Vodafone freebie) I might as well do the iTunes trial after that.
3.
Do you really want foreigners coming over here and occupying your forum and buying your basses??? (disclaimer: I one of those foreigners, I do have a couple of cool basses for sale, but I do have an interest in BC beyond GAS, honest )
Are you one of salmonds crew?
4. That's another thing. There have been some really cool bassss for sale oI here. The annoying thing is, they're from foreign sellers who seem to have little interest in Basschat otherwise
5. Great for the litter tray..your cat will love it
6. I've had great experiences on here .( sold 2 basses ,a few books, a couple of effects ). Wasn't sure about an effect I got on here. After trying it out for a couple of days, it was ok. I have a couple of basses for sale on here at the moment. After seeing a lot of people on here warning us about bad experiences selling on fleabay( apparently ,the buyer is always right), I've decided to just let them sit on here for a while. Regarding my telebass; one buyer pulled out at the last moment. A couple of pm's from bass hatters who I've never heard of telling me they're interested, but no follow up. I have withdrawn the basses, and relisted them because of sad times financially . If they don't sell in a few months, then I may keep them altogether. It's a buyers market ,so things can be slooooow! I won't be low balled tho'
7. Pretty quirky looking bass. I saw a review of these on sound on sound magazine . Highly rated Have a bump
8. Bass rigs.. If this includes effects, then I would think that more bass players use them now than ever before. They may not weigh much , but it is an addition to a rig
9. Outdoor sound is notoriously cr@p IMHO . Saw Metallica at Wembley stadium a few years back( new stadium). Sound was atrocious
10. My fave version of the attitudes. Best colour IMHO.Trades?
11. Hate it ! Should be cracked down on. Just thinking of the many times James Hatfield did it. Don't know if he still does. The annoying thing, is that y ou can hear the spiriting on some of their live recordings. Way too annoying
12.
Total set up IMHO.
Yes !
13. Sorry to hear that Bert;( My first ' big ' headlining gig I saw, was front row at hammy o ,highway to hell tour. I remember me and my friend bashing angus's leg with the tour programmes. I grabbed hold of Angus satchel( I was very young), dry ice coming out of it..then a roadie punched me in the face . I almost delayed Angus being carried around the venue on the roadies back. Saw them a couple of times after that; fly on the wall tour Wembley arena. Boring. You could see a cannon and a bell. Them days Wembley arena was grubby. Sound awful etc. saw them at donington . Metallica should've headlined , but insisted av/doc did . A DVD came out , but we thought they were rubbish. I think that, they should've stopped playing a few years ago tbh. Angus 's bum must be very wrinkly .
14. I've got a tabletop that you can have
15. Sorry to hear about it . Drummers and keys , hardest to find let alone replace . I wish you luck . Maybe , if you went to a few band jam nights and saw someone who played your kinda stuff. You could get talking .. Maybe the drummer from one of their bands has itchy feet etc.
16.
The guitarist shold have owned up. Receiving adverse criticism is not a comfortable experience but if you think you are any good at what you do, you should be able to accept the opinion of others, and know if it is justified or not. Maybe he didn't know he cocked up. That would be worrying.
+1 . if I were told I was doing something not right , I would accept it and try to rectify asap
17. Have you tried just using batteties. Also, the psu should be 9v. Having said that , you could take it to a music sop and test unit if youwere to buy a new psu. Btw do mot put batteries in unit while using mains
18. No idea im afraid. You could ask michael manring
19. I got mine brand new when it came out. Over time, i found the expression pedal git stiff and squeaky. Playing live, when switching fir a couple of bassic presets they ofyen got stuck and sounded badly distorted. Even when going through the presets , they ofyen get stuck. I would say get rid, or just use at home .
