1. I live in an upstairs maissonnette . This means the floors are carpeted. I have ceiling speakers in the bedroom & hallway. Tbh, I got talked out of putting them in the living room by a chap in Sevenoaks hi- fi . I use a combo playing Bass , but at a very reasonable volume . Amp is on a stand or table . Also , if the mood takes me , I play through my Mac computer with line 6 interface & studio monitors ( not loud tho'). No complaints from neighbour , although she will Have a fit when she notices I cut part of her climber down yesterday , before going to s korn gig.
2. Lots of good advice on both sides of the fence there. Looking at it from another perspective , have you thought about emigrating? To put it another way, it sounds like you are bored out of your mind , and could do with a life changing experience. IMHO there isn't much for the young folk to look forward to here( very little chance of you getting a mortgage / pension etc) With the musical knowledge you have, you could get extra cash by teaching . Plus you could play anywhere in the world for fun. You are young enough to try anything . The music business is so clinical these days , and lots of your time could be wasted listening to hopeful promises that lead to nothing, because you have the wrong nail varnish on your fingers and not enough tattoos .
3. More money than cents. Oh, wait a minute . Bet he's got some cash hidden away somewhere. Oh, and he'll be on every celeb programme going .
4. What used to happen in my previous band( due to loud guitarist),; we would set up. Then Mr . Vox would check the sound levels and we stuck to that. Small rehearsal rooms were like torture chambers at times . The bigger picture; how are you gonna play the dog and duck, without being asked to leave mid set?
5. Make me an offer bump. Or trade for a Roland cube amp?
6. More info needed. What bass is it? Active or passive ? Have you checked leads/ batteries ? What about the amp? Over to other bass hatters ...
7. Poxy spellcheckers . I'm bette off withowt thim

10. Cool! ( well cooler than london) Wish I was Scottish right now . The heat makes me say fumny things
11. My free premium spotify, will be running out soon.( Vodafone freebie) I might as well do the iTunes trial after that.
12.
Do you really want foreigners coming over here and occupying your forum and buying your basses??? (disclaimer: I one of those foreigners, I do have a couple of cool basses for sale, but I do have an interest in BC beyond GAS, honest )
Are you one of salmonds crew?
13. That's another thing. There have been some really cool bassss for sale oI here. The annoying thing is, they're from foreign sellers who seem to have little interest in Basschat otherwise
14. Great for the litter tray..your cat will love it
15. I've had great experiences on here .( sold 2 basses ,a few books, a couple of effects ). Wasn't sure about an effect I got on here. After trying it out for a couple of days, it was ok. I have a couple of basses for sale on here at the moment. After seeing a lot of people on here warning us about bad experiences selling on fleabay( apparently ,the buyer is always right), I've decided to just let them sit on here for a while. Regarding my telebass; one buyer pulled out at the last moment. A couple of pm's from bass hatters who I've never heard of telling me they're interested, but no follow up. I have withdrawn the basses, and relisted them because of sad times financially . If they don't sell in a few months, then I may keep them altogether. It's a buyers market ,so things can be slooooow! I won't be low balled tho'
16. Pretty quirky looking bass. I saw a review of these on sound on sound magazine . Highly rated Have a bump
17. Bass rigs.. If this includes effects, then I would think that more bass players use them now than ever before. They may not weigh much , but it is an addition to a rig
