No, screen printing is the technology for t-shirts.
This would be more suitable for mounting on those large frameless, er, frames. The ink isn't fixed (washable)
I think the Celestion speaker in there has a lot of character too, and noticeably more top end than the Eminence 15" in the BF Compact. I had a conversation with Alex about the loudness of the Trace, and he suggested that it might be subtle mid-range distortion that helps the speakers sound so loud. Subjectively, the Trace combo was as loud as the Compact.
I heard one of those narrower combos a few years ago, and even with a Wal going into it , it sounded nowhere near as good as the larger combo with the twin ports. May have been the lower powered one though.
I had the same combo but with the front ports, and have to agree it does everything you need for a band situation. I didn't find it all that heavy, the side handles make for a comfortable lift for me, and I am only ickle, but quite sturdy.
Tremolo dive-bombing and the over-use of metronomic double bass drum are two things that are unfave for me. The drumming seems to be a prerequisite in many metal genres. I did hope it would die out like the gated 80s snare sound, but it doesn't seem to be about to happen. The funk/fusion guys manage to use it in fills with taste though. That's fine with me!
Along with banjo, uke mandolin and other more esoteric plinky string instruments. Not sounds I generally enjoy.
You should try listening to some of his recordings from his prime. His singing and guitar playing were really fine. He didn't become world renowned by accident.
