  1. Designer Dungeon.
  2. Your bbot to will be chrome or bright nickel plated, the gold coloured one will be actual gold plating. May not be very thickly applied, but it is still real gold. No need for the " "
  3. Spot on, Charic! Where can I get tickets for Pink Torpedo Profanity Test?
  4. Yeah, give us a clue will ya?
  5. Interesting Telecaster - What is it? good tune btw!
  6. Ah, more than 3 steps to Kevin then.
  7. Another +1 for the Chicago version. The single version packs a lot into a short space. The guitar tone is really mean too, I love it!
  8. ScummoCaster or Log, by Blammo!
  9. I have the opposite issue, being small, most regular sized basses look massive on me, like on Suzie Quattro... The Mustang PJ is right up my street, but I'm not allowed any more basses or guitars
  10. If the 350 in the amp name refers to output power, the current consumption will be considerably higher, as amplifiers are not 100% efficient.
  11. Holy snit, he should come to one of our gigs, usually one, sometimes two broken strings on my guitarists telecaster. He doesn't even play lead, no massive bends or anything, he's just a heavy handed rhythm player! I bought Graphtech saddles for him years ago, made not a jot of difference.
  12. If you can find one, a Trace Acoustic cube is nice sounding for acoustic. It has reverb and a notch filter, and can be mounted on a Mic stand for use as a personal monitor at head height. They are quite rare though!
  13. A possible downside could be that the unused machines may rattle. Not the pegs themselves as they can usually be adjusted to take up any slack, but the posts. I've seen this on cheaper 12 strings, of course this may be a non-issue with the Ovation.
  14. re: fan noise; I'm sure you could put a thermal switch in series with the fan for turning it off at low volume/temperature.
  15. ..... is the correct answer!!
  16. That looks yummy!
  17. do keep up Dad!
  18. If it's Japanese made, the threads will probably be metric. Might be able to help out with longer M3 screws.
  19. Didn't get round to it this month, but I am sure my title "Leave it Gary, 'e ain't worth it" would have been right up there....
  20. Probably early Pink Floyd, my sister had Relics, and the first pre-recorded cassette I bought was A Nice Pair, which was Piper at the Gates of Dawn and A Saucer Full of Secrets all jumbled up to make both sides almost exactly the same length. Huge influence on me at 13 or so.
  21. That was a ton of fun! I don't know why I don't listen to the Cardiacs more often.
  22. I played a bit of bass through my Wharfedale Titan 8 when I first got them - not really usable for bass at any volume, I'm afraid. Active ones may be better if they've got fancy dsp going on, but not the passives. Hope that helps.
  23. Just listened to the Wargs music (they are advertising for a bass player on here), and there's more than a touch of the Breeders about them too.
  24. I Really like this band, would be right up my street (if my street was in north London)
