1. You mean the markbass one?
2. Richie just bought my pair of Epi cabs, comms and payment spot on! No trouble here, more than happy to recommend! Trustworthy and trusting chap! ta matey
3.
That's a real shame dude. How long did you give it? Might take a little while to become accustomed to it...
a great shame cos it's a beautiful bass, even lovelier in the flesh!! ...you know when you just don't gel with a bass...I knew straight away but I pressed on hoping I'd grow to love it...no dice I'm afraid...sadly I need 34" of your inches please!! I still have and love my ziracote 6'er so I'm staying firmly in the ACG camp
4. Sad day...I just can't cope with the 33" scale for some reason so it's heading off back to alan :-(
5. Frank bought my genz head, paid very quickly and was very patient while we worked out a mutually possible time n date for a meet! He even offered to take a pair of cabs from me so their new owner could collect them from him as the three way meet couldn't be made to work... Top gent, honest and really helpful!! Thanks matey
6. Just bought Nick's radial thingy, top gent, great guy, everything spot on! Still a bit sad our potential cab swap didn't work out but I do like my s12t and your genz has gone to a good home so all is well as ends well...
7. As the first/previous owner of this beauty I can verify that all of the claims and specs above are spot on! Someone will be getting a beautiful bass that plays and sounds like a proper one!!
8. Yes if there's summat else that better makes your noises? a/b your top 3 contenders and see whether they do it for you! ?
9.
Hi Andy Just added a pic (apologies for the quality). It's in superb condition and comes with the box and manual. Cheers Nick
Super tempted nick matey, I'll pm you
10. Super long velcro cable tidy wrapped around the headstock?
11. Hiya nick, got any pics of the radial? What's it's condition? Box? Manual...etc? Ta buddy A
12. I had a zebrano aspiration for a little while and it was mega, sadly only 4 string but sound, tonal balance and physical balance were light years ahead of way more expensive basses! Bargain bump, lots of tone for minimal dosh!!
13. I've never liked the cabs either, I love my LMII head though, it sounds awesome through a Barefaced S12T! Ditch the cabs and get a barefaced S12T, you'll be very present!!
14.
Wow!? Really? Nice work matey. It's a truly lovely bass that one, I think you'll be VERY happy with it Eude
Thanks dude, it's all paid for now, so Alan's just giving it a once over before bundling it up so send down to me!
15. I might have almost concluded the deal for another ACG I just 'happened' to be browsing Alan's 'available now' pages when I spotted this beauty! (I'll do my own photos when it arrives next week!) http://www.acguitars...k/Available/46/ Tasmanian Burl Myrtle top with 4mm Sycamore accent and American Cherry chambered body. 5 piece Maple/Bubinga neck with Ebony fingerboard with Maple fret lines. 24 fret / 33" scale / zero radius. Two ACG FB Humbuckers in to an ACG EQ03 4K. Low battery indicator. Satin finish.
16. Noah just bought my Geddy (modified by BassDoc) fretless, super easy transaction, he did exactly what he said he would (and when!), excellent chap, great comms. Thanks buddy!
17. duplicate thread please delete...
18.
Having a quiet day at work ..thought id have a count up of bass's purchased on a wim offline!! 31 in 6 years:( ..the worst must have been a hagstrom beluga in white...I traded that monster back in 2010 to pmt in Norwich and it's still there..anyone agree or disagree or can better..for uglyness..what was I thinking...
Yep, still listed! http://www.pmtonline.co.uk/px-hagstrom-beluga-3-bass-white.html The most hideous looking bass I ever bought was probably a Rickenbacker 4001
19. This rig is super bargainous! The head is the most noise you can make for this small an amount of brass, I got one identical recently and it's taken my head off at my usual 'set it all to 12 oclock, the master on 3 and play'! It feels seriously loud and full!!
20. I concur, just sold mine for £400 (excluding shipping) on here the other day
21. [s]FS my Genz Shuttle 9.0, like the 6.0 but more! More power, more bottom, sparkly valve pre and umpy digital power amp! Condition is excellent, there are a couple of minor scuffs on the underside from a cab handle, other than that it's spot on! It's done a couple of gigs with me but has never been pushed over half power with all eq set flat! Reason for sale is I find my acoustic image focus 2 suits my acg better and this now won't get used. Price is for collection and includes the genz bag I got with it. 22. Alan just hand delivered my new s12t from Kent to Sheffield despite the snow! The man may be insane but he is the highest quality of insane! Above and beyond and then some!!
23.
Thanks for that. It looks like it would be a long and slow journey - it seems fairly remote on the map.
Not that remote, Hope's a 20min-ish drive from Sheffield...it is chuffin miles from Inverness though
24.
Chordbot is good - generates chord sequences for you to play along with. Knows about lots of chord types. The free version is not bad, but the paid one has lots of different comping styles and has the randomise option to generate random (but musically sensible) sequences. Can save chord sequences out as WAV. I find it very useful for coming up with ideas and for general mucking about.
I'll have a look at that, what a good idea that is!!
25.
On my kitchen scales it weighs 11lb 11 ounces. For comparison, my ash-bodied $$ weighs 8lb 11 ounces
Sheesh that's as heavy as my acg 6'er!
