  1. Past hour
  2. I also had an epiphany in rehearsal last night. I always put the DMMc micro in front, but it's a bit taller than allcthe other pedals so inevitably I'd switch channels or turn other pedals on or off while using it. I decided last night i didnt really need the DMC, i could just use 6 onboard presets for shows Then it hit me. Pit the FMC at the top. It's tall enough with the oedal toppers i can use it without disturbing the other pedals. It also gives me much better access to C4 expression input and the dmc expression input so i can control boulth the plethora and the C4 with the source audio dual exp pedal This setup is perfect! I cant forsee any major changes bar MAYBE a different distortion. Love it!
  3. On first glance, this Les Paul standard looks like a bargain at £300, so if someone jumps in quick to snap it up, they'll probaby think they've pulled a fast one and have been able to take advantage of the seller's ignorance of the value. https://www.gumtree.com/p/guitar-instrument/gibson-les-paul-guitar/1478624071 However the are several honking great red flags indicating that it is indeed the seller who is trying to pull a fast one Its a two second job on Google to discover a Gibson Les Paul Standard is worth a lot more than £300 The truss rod cover is wrong - the printing looks like crap and it has no white edge The Rhythm / Treble 'pokerchip' stamping is wrong The swtich has a hex nut rather than a knurled nut The Strap buttons are shaped like fender strap buttons rather than gibson buttons The back plate shape is wrong The neck heel and cutaway shapes are not quite right A Les Paul standard would have a decent hard case. This doesn't have a case The tuner tips are a weird murky grey green colour No Fret nibs The fingerboard position trapezoid markers are the wrong shape, being too curved the sides The Serial number and 'Made in USA' stamp are be marked with characters that are too thin The "Guitar has been in the wardrobe for a long time, used to belong to my stepfather. I don’t play and know nothing about guitars, having a clear out and need it gone." story gives plausible denyability if challenged Cash only — no tracability etc...
  4. Up for sale is my Ibanez SR370e AWB, in Aged Whisky Burst, It’s a 2016 model in excellent condition with the specs shown in pic. Looking to sell or preferably trade with a SR375e 5 string version as I like the bass and pickups but prefer a 5 string. I have a box and packing if postage is required cheers Ady
  5. I'm sure I've seen someone here who bought the 2x8. Your problem with something like the Gnome is that with 130W into 8 ohms you need a decently sensitive speaker and small speakers tendto be lower efficiency than larger ones. Unless you are looking at the more 'grown up' Gnomes with a bit more power. It all depends upon your use though. My Gnome gives me enough to act as a monitor with a fairly ordinary 1x10 but we have eDrums so on-stage sound levels aren't too bad. Have you already bought the Gnome or is it something you are still considering?
  6. Yep, that is what I assumed. It was, the ticket was on black paper hand written in gold ink, and you contacted them by email or through uk.people.gothic on usenet to sort tickets out.
  7. You'd get depressed if you couldn't buy another bass?
  8. Have a look at what's out there, on Joinmyband, Bandmix, Gumtree, Facebook, etc. Avoid the obvious arseholes and see if you can link up with a band wanting to do a similar amount of gigging as you do.
  9. It is a Candy Apple red finish you can see thru to the wood , the NS2000 didn’t have a flamed top .
  10. Again, what i said, that is just a fake ric, or fraud. That is different to something that is clearly not a ric but ric shape. If you advertise something as a rickenbacker, and it isn't, that is clear fraud. If you advertise something as a ric shaped bass, that isnt fraud.
  11. Pulled out the recording board today to rewire the moose sunhammer in and give it some sunlight and a quick run-through. Such a killer board, but it is so heavy...
  12. They are fantastic. That is the cab I used the TE1200 you bought from me with. Absolutely incredible cab, louder than you could ever need unless you are playing in the worlds biggest outdoor festival with absolutely no PA support. Build quality is fantastic, Light with wheels and just a brilliant cab
  13. Children, wife, body parts - sell them in that order. 😉😉
  14. Nah, you want the original: https://reverb.com/uk/item/75888548-carlo-robelli-swd-joe-dart-bass
  15. I’m way out of this. But in my defence I’ve only bought gear that I need due to health issues.
  16. I get a feeling if I was take a punt and hate it - I could move it fairly easily as they'll be A) Joe Dart fans who missed out and really want one. B) People who are just generally nosey but not enough of a fan boi to buy it first time round. Yes, I'm trying to talk myself into buying one 😂
  17. 2nd hand HX Stomp is the way forward!
  18. I've just reproduced this by running Tonelib-Zoom with the MS-60B connected, then starting the firmware updater while Tonelib-Zoom is still running. It's because Tonelib-Zoom has reserved the MIDI connections to the MS-60B. Try again without Tonelib-Zoom running.
  19. RBX800AF? Neck to body join is right... But obvs loadsa tweaking on the body....
  20. Waiting for me to find £1200 down the back of my couch
  21. Ultimately, it was a backhanded advert for short scales and, of course, SBL. Scott hamming it up to make a point. Add a nice, clickbaity title and folk are watching it. Then the YT payments start. Never forget, SBL is a business with staff to pay and the YT output is a revenue stream. I quite like the Scott/Ian videos, but they’re not to everyone’s taste.
  22. An alternative ? https://retrovibe.co.uk/product/retrovibe-s30-strat-bass-30-6-short-scale-surf-green-dart-tastic/
  23. I couldn't make out if it was tongue in cheek or not - certainly made me consider whether I'd watch anything else he produces - mostly yabber with little substance anyway IMHO.
  24. They are lightweight, they are loud, but be prepared to make a change in your eq. Being uncoloured they really change the sound of an existing set-up and it takes a while to get it back (unless the uncoloured version is preferred of course). For me I moved away from BF as I found that I preferred the coloured sounding cabs but I’d never knock them, they’re great products and will handle pretty much anything.
