I will immediately return to 1990 and instruct my past self to amend his ways. TBH, most people who write off piezo never encountered properly designed PA horns rather than the tatty little cheap ones.

You might have to hold your horses. theres a band meeting been called. I’ve obviously raised some valid concerns and I don’t really want to leave. i wont lie - ive not been in a great mental space recently so maybe the band has copped for it… i dunno:

To me it sounds thin, farty and mid scooped. But I digress... I suppose this is a somewhat thin tone too, but at the same time monterous, and very snappy and punchy, I love this P tone:

I'd like to do a guitar course like that. Would be very handy. -

Although the photo isn't quite square, the saddle peaks look normally staggered to me. Nice score, BTW, I'm suitably jealous.

A rather long winded workaround is to split the stems of the tracks, so you can isolate the bass. Either try and learn note for note, or find a DAW that can turn the audio in to midi notes and use those to work things out.

Sorry Stub but I find Piezo tweeters harsh and unmusical. I would never use them.

Warwick Streamer LX4 Jazzman Petrol Green (now £1095.00)
mattbass6 posted a topic in Basses For Sale
I’m selling my beautiful 2004 German-made Warwick Streamer LX Jazzman in Petrol Green – a seriously versatile and pro-level bass that’s built like a tank and sounds amazing. Lovingly looked after and in fantastic condition, gold hardware upgraded to black official Warwick hardware, new black Dunlop strap locks, and a new Just-A-Nut III brass nut, professionally fitted. Set up beautifully with a low action and new LaBella 40-100 stainless steel strings. Specs: • Swamp ash body with flame maple top • Bolt-on ovangkol neck with wenge fingerboard • 24 frets / 34” scale length • Just-A-Nut III brass nut (38.5mm width) • Warwick 2-piece brass bridge • MEC pickups: passive Jazz (neck) + MM-style humbucker (bridge) • 3-way mini toggle (series / parallel / single coil) • Active 3-band EQ (volume push-pull for passive bypass) • Dunlop strap locks • Weighs around 4kg – solid but very comfortable Condition: Very good overall. Some signs of use as expected for a bass of this age, but everything works perfectly. Frets are in great shape, neck is straight, and the electronics are super flexible. Uber versatile. This thing can do vintage warmth or modern bite with ease. Would prefer collection, but I have a proper box to post at buyers expense. Please make sure it is insured prior to sending. Any further questions, please feel free to ask. Cash on collection or bank transfer only please. Cheers ☺️☀️ PS Not looking for any trades. Thank you.-

MK2 will use the same spacing of the horizontal bars, but the PSU will be mounted in an enclosure under the board. The power sockets will be underneath, making it easier to mount pedals. I had the board on all day, yesterday in ambient 23 Celsius, without any problems. Running on batteries or the new power supply makes no difference as far as I can hear. I will get the scope on the output one day.

I have done this too 2 x ebay necks and one from Aliexpress of the two I've fitted both nuts were cut well and they set up really well I'm going on a Crimson guitars course, to learn how to refret/ level and set up etc and will take them along to level the frets (but I don't think they need it, they play great) I've got some unknown bodies from an auction and used one. Turned out ok Bought Northwest guitars own brand tuners and bridge and a tonerider pickup, it gets gigged in the U2 tribute I'm in -
The main board (that I got told off for posting last time!) has finally been upgraded to a + version of the Shure wireless, really do appreciate that auxillary input. I've also got rid of the overhanging xlr cables, making everything much neater. It's now 100% balanced using the EBS flat trs cables for all 3 cable runs. My analogue board has had the overdrive switched back to a TC and I've managed to squeeze the OC2 in as well. This doesn't really see much use these days, but sometimes I like a simpler thing if I'm recording or whatever.

IME you need the on-line version to promote sales of physical media. I buy CDs (and vinyl if there is no alternative) because I like physical media and because it supports the bands who produce it. I'll use a streaming service to check out new bands but if I like what I hear I'll buy a CD. The sort of person who is happy with streaming is unlikely to shell out for a CD or other physical media because if your album isn't on their favoured streaming service they will just make do without listening to it.

This is my Ashdown MAG300 EVO II bass guitar amp head which is now surplus to requirements. It's an early EVO II 300H model with the black carpet covering which is in very good condition all round. What can I say about these amps other than they are generally solid, reliable workhorse amps, and its super easy to get a useable tone from them. This one is in full working order, all controls work smoothly and crackle free, VU light works fine. Ashdown rate these as 300 watts RMS / 500 watts peak @ 4 ohms. I've used this with a 4 ohm cab and it runs perfectly. It's fan cooled so probably not ideal for home or bedroom use as the fan is audible at home volumes. Used sparingly as a back up and occasionally rehearshal amp by me and never abused. It's in very clean condition throughout. I'd prefer collect in person, tea and biscuits included free so you can try it out. I may consider posting to a UK mainland destination if a buyer is willing to arrange their own courier to collect. PM/message me if that is something you are interested in. Not looking for trades, thanks as i'm "thinning the herd" for now.

I tend to back off bass slightly, small boost of 800 and treble. Sounds great with a Jazz or Precision.
