  1. Past hour
  2. A13, Trunk Road To The Sea - Billy Bragg
  3. Bendricks Rock: classic rock, all eras from late 60s. Tends to the heavier end. Fortunate Sons: 60s/70s rock, more chart hits. Still to debut with them as missed my first gig due to being ill. Bluesfire: blues rock 'power trio'. Guitar prodigy Fractured Persona: originals somewhat gothy/punky. With a bit of an art-rock element. Got our songs, working on arrangements. More a recording project than great live ambitions, but our gig plans would suit Alice Cooper...
  4. The real 63 was breathed on by Leo and touched by genuine American pixies and also was made of magic wood the later bass was made after leo left the building and is not made of magic wood
  5. I had two of the ABM 210H cabs and they were excellent. Paired very nicely with the ABM600 GLWTS 👍
  6. Sold Sam a Darkglass Anagram. Supremely rapid payment and even sent extra to cover me undercharging the postage. Great guy and would proper recommend!
  7. I've never played a JV Squire and only played one "Fullerton" reissue - that was a very nice bass. Considerably better than some late 70's Jazzes I have had a go on with construction / quality standards
  8. I was doing some googling and came across this: Line 6 Electronic User Guide – Mission Engineering https://share.google/n6GYRtJQ2vG5qcdz6 Have you got metal washers on the output jacks? In which case, you might have revision A where you need a TRS -> Y cable.
  9. The Road To Hell - Chris Rea
  10. I must admit that I consider the Ampeg B15NF that sits at the bottom of the stairs to my basement studio about as sexy as amps come. I love that thing!
  11. Remind me about September! Basschat get together aberdeen volume 2 😂
  12. Some guy called Les Paul on the headstock.
  13. Backing track with laptop (which controls our IEM mixes and click track) which outputs to a DI 😊 we did consider a keyboard player, but everyone we spoke with was a bit weird. We decided the synth and band was better as the 4 of us.
  14. Roll On Down The Highway - BTO
  15. The OP asked for something small in an unusual colour. 50W Crush straddles the line between a practice amp and something for sedate jamming etc. I have bass amps at: 5W, 10W, 20W, 40W, 50W, 250W, 300W and 500W. They all have their places. My green anodised Joyo Badass at 50W is definitely sexy and goes well with my red PJB C4 cab.
  16. I'm mostlyusing the 2x10 Pure, 4ohm, will an Elf amp for the majority of thef gigs with a loud band. Its Super loud and super light. Sounds great too.
  17. I shall give it a couple of hours. There is Monique one in there which I will at least test.
  18. ...following up from that, I bought a piece of Hi-Fi kit last week. The seller listed collection as an option, but eBay instructed him to post it. Fortunately, we worked it out: he cancelled, I got an immediate refund to PayPal, then he re-listed as collection-only, I did the offer, he accepted, and then I went and collected it.
  19. You're going to have to play some thin notes to get them through that narrow slat!! I saw one of those combos in a music store here in Toronto many years ago. I always thought that it looked a bit odd. Enjoy your new toy.
  20. It's very shiny!
  21. Great basses, well done for getting a bargain. Looks much better without the ghastly scratchplate!! Good to hear about a stand-up seller
  22. Ok, so GAS has got the better of me (again) and I’ve splurged a load of cash on something else, so this is now available for £120 including UK second class delivery.
  23. My eye (yes, I have two. Don't worry...) was caught by the cool looking lever at the top of the bridge - does this amazingly manly bass have a lever that deploys the string mutes? Bet MusicMan wish they'd thought of that before adding those fiddly tiny metal round screws under the bridges of Classic Stingrays. Seriously impressed by the intonation calibration markings on the bridge as well. If Bang & Olufsen made basses, they would make basses like this.
  24. BUMP Still here, not common to come by, only selling it for what I paid BUMP
  25. ^^^ this It’s a beautiful instrument and will bring immense joy to who ever owns it next. tbh, I’m not sure why it’s not had more interest, sunburst bodies aren’t to everyone’s liking I guess, nor are maple finger boards. I’d like it to have gone to someone in the BC community , but I guess I’ll have to speak to Bass Bro’s about a commissioned sale or summat.
