  2. @HellzeroAmazeballs! Thank you 🙏
  3. Well, if you insist on going in at the same time as Trevor Horn, what do you expect?!
  4. fully carved bassfor sure. Hybrids and laminates are around the £800 to £1000 mark, so probably up to £1500.... which is what you appear to be asking on eBay. Bassbags sell fully carved factory basses for a lot more than this, starting around £2500 but Casswells have some around £1300 Of course it depends on what it sounds like!
  5. Just to be clear the price I am asking is £3000. That being said I am sure anyone who might have an interest in a Bass of this quality and condition would drop me a message to negotiate.
  6. That does look an interesting venue! Nice to hear from someone else that uses the same kit most of the time 😂
  7. I second that on all counts. Sods law I've just bought an Oly one yesterday
  8. I agree with @Hellzero that the Fodera videos pretty much cover it. Not overly sure it covers the sequence and the reasons for that sequence and hence my extra post - if folks understand why they do certain things, better chance that they will be able to work out the right action if something unusual pops up. Ref the amount of gap, my actual target is 'just-perceptible movement' when you tap the string at the middle of the fretboard. The business card guide is more of an absolute maximum gap rather than a target. Ref 20th June, MrsAndyjr1515 hasn't told me yet what decision I am going to make ref holiday weeks...

  10. The twin of my old faithful, great basses and Brian is a great bloke to deal with!
  11. It's always a pleasure when people are grateful...
  12. The day has finally come to pass this on as I'm ready for a change. Made in the Custom Shop at Dingwall is this beautiful bass that's around 5 years old. In exceptional condition, no dings and only the finest of marks on the back which can only be seen by holding up to the light (I don't wear an exposed belt when playing). They may well polish out. Currently strung with D'Addario coated strings but have to say that I liked it better with flats. Tone fusion electronics, Wenge fretboard and tortoiseshell pick guard. Weighs in at a shade over 7lbs. Collection from here in Belper (15 minutes from J28 of the M1. Negotiable on meet-up.
  13. Drop us an email and we will be happy to help [email protected]
  14. Great stuff, glad it made it through the snow! Thanks for the feedback - I couldn't see a feedback thread for you but let me know if I've missed it and I'll do the same. All the best, M
  15. It's already filmed and explained here the same way. 😉
  16. Bought a pedal off of Matthew in a nice, easy deal. Great comms and delivery time. Cheers!

  19. If I've counted right, only 8 songs out of 500 featuring female artists. Still an old white bloke's game, this rock music lark!

  21. Rest assured that any changes that Graham ( early adopter and pioneer of the 5 string!) has made will have been well executed/ well thought out and will have improved on the original bass. As ever, very fairly priced...I got great use out of the G&L I bought from Graham prior to switching to short scale, GLWTS
