What new gear should be produced?
fretmeister replied to Jean-Luc Pickguard's topic in General Discussion
They did a limited run like that once. Might have even been neck through. It didn't sell enough to keep going with it. -
Congratulations! Looks good. How does it sound?
-
Yeah that was a strange one, hopefully they can sort that and get them upstairs where they belong

Protection racket 7051 bass gig bag. Zip works after a fashion, handles likewise. Completely un-sellable as it's got major issues. Ideal for in house bass storage or for part of the packaging to transport a bass in a sale dispatch. Free to collect from Lichfield, Staffordshire. I couldn't bear the rigmarole of couriers, packaging etc

Thanks for pointing out the mixed Thomann reviews of the Swiff WX520 - very helpful. Given I've just recommended the unit to our singer, for whom it will be a significant outlay, I've had a read through (and pulled the reviews together in English translation in the attached note, in case of use for anyone else). I found the review by a chap called Jonz particularly good. He very helpfully listed the pros and cons and was obviously loving it, until it broke after 6 months! Shame. +1 for the Genz Benz NeoX 212 I love mine, I paid £350 secondhand around 3 years ago, the top handles are a little awkward for lifting into a high truck but at about 20kgs it is managable, built in casters. Tweeter is variable and the cab is rated at 600w @4 Ohms. I had a Barefaced cab which I sold soon after getting the Genz

I can still see a bit of tape though. -
Well, it's all now pointless as the screw holes on the Cort A6 don't quite align with the holes on this bridge, so I can't use it as I'm not willing to re-drill the Cort. The holes are far enough apart to not fit, but close enough that re-drilling would just widen the existing holes... So, anyone want a bridge! 😆

A Schroeder 212 or Genz Benz NX212 ate the 2 cabs I have used. Both great cabs, but very different as well. The only thing is finding one, unfortunately.

Absolutely! The update we’re currently working on will bring lots of great new goodies.

I can't tell you to the gram, but much is an appropriate word.
