Hard to believe, but when that picture was taken I was pointing out the one issue I had with my own Stingray. The pole pieces had too severe a camber so that A and D were loud and G and E were a fair bit quieter.

Uncle Leo was very gracious and actually gave me some 'add-on' magnets of the right diameter to stick to the weaker pole pieces.

I'll try to load up some more stuff when I've been up to the attic to retrieve it - it includes a treasured autograph.

I remember being mightily impressed the first time i saw that pic about 17 years ago, used to hang on the bass place wall, seems like 2 minutes ago!!! aged like a fine wine my friend, or is that mojo,d like a 60,s P :) -all the best - lee
