One of these chaps is a font of knowledge on all things Fender. The other is called Leo. Oh, aye.. forgot to mention that one of them is one of BC's own. The Bass Doc Posted January 21, 2010 Share Posted January 21, 2010 Hard to believe, but when that picture was taken I was pointing out the one issue I had with my own Stingray. The pole pieces had too severe a camber so that A and D were loud and G and E were a fair bit quieter. Uncle Leo was very gracious and actually gave me some 'add-on' magnets of the right diameter to stick to the weaker pole pieces. I'll try to load up some more stuff when I've been up to the attic to retrieve it - it includes a treasured autograph. (Secret message to Beasley - 'Brown Bear loves Hairy Beaver'). H.
