bassbiscuits Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I got a new wallet. Which will never have any money in it as long as I play bass. There. That’s bass related. 6 Quote
PaulThePlug Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Jack Daniels, Toblerone, Socks... It's almost like he has been watching me... Son got a Behringer Reverb Pedal. He has gone a bit Telecaster and Jeff Buckley of late. I'm sure the Muse Bass will return. Edited 6 hours ago by PaulThePlug 1 Quote
KingBollock Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Some money, a voucher for my local commercial fishery, and a book about words by Susie Dent. But the stand out has to be: Bryn Terfel: Carols & Christmas Songs on CD… 1 Quote
MichaelDean Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I know my brother has got me a Valeton GP-5. We spent today with the in-laws, we'll see them tomorrow. Looking forward to trying out some NAM pedal captures in the loop of my GX-100. Quote

She was Suzie Dent and didn't come across as particularly engaging. But I enjoyed it, it was calm. Quote

rwillett Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I got singing lessons from t'other half. Could be a subtle (or not so subtle) hint. Never has a singing lesson in my life. I used to sing solos when I was younger in primary school and then I grew up or something like that<cough> and can now strip creosote off fences at 10m. Fish wives and RSMs aren't in it. 2 2 Quote
ead Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago My birthday and Christmas fall within three days of each other and I was gifted this Retrovibe by the fam after seeing it in Bolton and commenting on it (not by any means as a hint; as a few of you know I'm selling my basses these days due to arthritis). Having been in touch with David it seems it was one of 8 made in this colour around 10 years ago. Absolutely immaculate although the pickups are apparently not the original fit items, so I will probs restore the right ones if I can find some. Interestingly it's a 33.25" scale and has the push pull on the bridge tome control. 7 Quote

Len_derby Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) A new folding music stand. For practising, definitely not performing 😂 A nice plaid shirt, which will appear on stage with me some time soon. A bottle of Talisker malt whisky for inspiration. Edited 1 hour ago by Len_derby Incorrect spelling of whisky! 3 Quote

Excellent Len, but please take that 'e' out of 'whisky' - it's from Skye, not Newtonards. Quote
