I’ll bring a sire v7/5, an acoustic bass and a bh250 with a hard-hitting cab straight outta Compton … I mean Coalville though some days you could easily confuse them

I'll bring a Sei or two, an Antoniotsai, maybe the Esh Poseidon V, a BC cab or two with amps to match (TC BAM200 and Tecamp Puma 900 should do), maybe the Barcus bass and the Shuker if I've got it back from Jon by then. And if something interesting happens to the OLP Tony Levin, I'll bring that too.

Personally, I'd LOVE a masterclass on setting up a Bass!


EDIT: I don't have any Wals or Alembics or anything... happy to bring my MusicMans/MusicMen and pedalboard if they're of any interest to anyone...

The whole point is bring what you've got. I've never played a proper musicman or a bongo, still on the list, but I played a Harley Benton one year that I way preferred to a Wal.

I'll be bringing my Shuker JJ Burnel Signature Lite P-bass (AKA the "Nuclear Device"), a Hofner HCT Contermporary 500/1, an NS WAV 4 headless, a first-batch Sterling by Music Man one-knob Joe Dart and a 1970s hollowbody thought to be a Columbus, but it may be an Epiphone!  Amplification TBC, but may include my ex-The Script Ashdown ABM Evo II 600 and a Warwick Gnome i Pro v2 and a handbuilt cab bought from The Fasting Showman and imho better than the Barefaced One10 that I had before.

I will wait 'till April or May to decide.  I had made a tentative arrangement to car pool but a recent MoT failure* has cast some doubt as to whether I can afford to fix it by then.

 

* If anyone can supply me with a replacement exhaust system for a Corolla T-Sport Compressor - for cost, I am willing to be their house-boy for a whole month (Any February except during leap years.  Ts&Cs apply).

Good news!

 

My car passed the MoT retest.  This means I can still consider using my car to car pool with if it is more suitable than my travelling companion's.

 

@pantherairsoft - if everything goes to plan and we share a ride, we could pick one amp, cab or combo from what we've got and cut down on luggage.  As before, let's finalise arrangements nearer the time.

 

I have a Laney RB3 combo (LF driver only, unlike recent versions that have an HF driver as well).  I also have an Ashdown Toneman 300 combo.  I'll leave the 18inch Trace cab behind unless someone specifically asks me to bring it.
