TheGreek Posted Sunday at 12:57 Posted Sunday at 12:57 Rod Stewart BRINGS THE WORLD TO TEARS — Fulfilling the final wish of his late father, Robert Stewart, Rod has quietly built 77 homes for war veterans — a “performance” unlike any he has ever given. Not beneath shimmering stage lights, but under the heat of the sun on a construction site, he traded his microphone for a hard hat. Each brick he laid seemed to echo like a note of gratitude, a hymn of respect for those who had given everything. There were no spotlights, no encores — only a man transforming love, duty, and legacy into something tangible. Fans were moved to tears, calling it “the greatest masterpiece of Rod Stewart’s life” — not a song carried by music, but a melody carved in compassion, humility, and an unshakable tribute to true heroes. Rich Posted Sunday at 13:46 Posted Sunday at 13:46 Curious. I can't find anything anywhere else on the net about this. This is quite literally the only source. 🫤 1 Quote

You'd have thought that Google or Duckduckgo would give some results for a search... Quote
Jackroadkill Posted Sunday at 14:55 Posted Sunday at 14:55 (edited) There's a lot going on about Rod Stewart on certain sections of the web at the moment, none of which can be corroborated with a simple google search, Funny that. Also, the prose in all of these "reports" just screams AI. Edited Sunday at 14:58 by Jackroadkill 3 Quote
Delberthot Posted yesterday at 13:40 Posted yesterday at 13:40 I could post a link confirming this story but the answer will shock you! Watch till the end ! And so on, Click bait, etc 😄 2 Quote
cetera Posted yesterday at 14:21 Posted yesterday at 14:21 Sounds like a desperate fake piece to appeal to his Deform supporters... 2 Quote
Stub Mandrel Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago That's the dodgiest jack-shït web page I've ever seen. More red flags than the battleship potemkin. Lots of characters from non-latin fonts to greak search engines. Don't go there and if you do, don't click anything. It's a honeypot targeting the gullible. Mods... please remove the link. 3 Quote

Most genuine news stories don't need to break up 'full story' or 'watch video' unless they are trying to evade spam detections. and the only places I can see on the net with that story point back to that same place, often with AI images and no details. 1 Quote

There seems to be a number of celebrities doing good deeds currently and I thought this was genuine. 2 Quote
kiat Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago "Rod Stewart destroys AI bots with insane brick-throwing, that isn't what you think" with crappy soundtrack and American voiceover.. Feeble tragic stuff (twats that misuse AI have a lot to answer for!) but at least the comments brought out some laughs.... Quote

Even if it were true a few million thrown by Rod at good causes ain’t anything like enough to compensate the world for his Glastonbury show 😆 1 Quote
dave_bass5 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I read he also built the pyramids in Egypt 🤣 it was on a webpage so i can’t imagine it’s fake news. 1 Quote
Maude Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I actually interviewed Rod for a local newspaper while he was on site. It was hard getting him to open up about the work, when quizzed he said he didn't want to talk about it. Then he said he was only joking and proceeded to explain the house building process. Foundations to begin with and apparently the first cut is the deepest. He said they were making good progress due to the dry weather, I asked if he'd ever seen the rain, to which he replied he'd had to start wearing shorts as his legs were always hot, some guys have all the luck I thought. He asked if I thought his hi-vis vest made him look sexy, ooh la la. I told him he wears it well. I had to leave it there as Rod had to wake up a co worker called Maggie to catch a train downtown to get supplies. 4 Quote
