It was a great sound! I didn’t like the Casady as much as the P, not quite so in your face. A bass with a P pickup in the normal position through a Tech21 VTDI will get you where you want, without the need for a chiropractor after, it’s what I do  .

Celeste - blimey, couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket. I’ve seen her perform a few times,

and her pitching ( or rather lack of it ) has always seemed to be an issue. She has an

’interesting’ voice but for me the random pitching thing is just too much for me to tolerate.

Yeah great tone, going by the burst looked like a 70s Precision, but whatever, sounded great.

Just caught a little of a band new to me called Divorce playing in that little off stage set the BBC have. Excellent musicians and a great female lead vocalist playing what looked like a short scale Rickenfaker. Nice.

Party time with Nile Rodgers & Chic. Bass a bit low in the mix. I'll be seeing them on Thursday evening at Powerham Castle when they support Duran Duran. 2 mega bass players to enjoy there!
