martthebass Posted May 29, 2023 Share Posted May 29, 2023 I’m pretty impressed with my gen 1 version but I suppose the East pre and the fact that it’s a fretless addressed some of the issues with some of the early gen 1 basses. Warwick are notorious for not selling necks separately but it may be different for the Sadowskys…also at the very least they could maybe sell some transfers as a cheaper DIY option? The RSD logo would still be on the headstock so I doubt there'd be any confusion about what it is, plus I doubt Warwick are going to do that for you anyway. Could always ask I guess. To me it's more counterfeit that they sell it as a Sadowsky instead of Rockbass, RSD or whatever yet it doesn't have the Sadowsky logo on there.
