I'm quite partial to a Strat.

I find strats more comfortable to play but a tele looks more badass.

Yeah but you’ve got a Dano too so no problems. 😀

Got two 6 strings, a Squier Fat Strat (HSS) and a PRS SE Singlecut. Both nice guitars, the PRS has a slightly wider neck which attracts, though I think I'm probably a single coil guy. Would probably chop both in for a Tele or an LP Junior (Harley Benton type, my playing isn't that great 😎).

Here we go...

I love my Fender Marauder, just the best guitar I’ve ever had. My epi ej200 is a real workhorse but there’s no great love there.

I was bored at home, and had some Seafoam Green, and custom mixed Smooth Mint (Fiat 500 car colour), nitrocellulose lacquer leftover from previous builds.

I wondered how the colours would look together. So, I made this:

2 piece, double bound, Tele body. 1 piece maple neck.  Gotoh tuners and bridge. Fender Pure Vintage 64 Tele pickups. CRL 3 way switch, Fender Pure Vintage knobs, and CTS pots.

All lacquer finishing was applied here at home. (I masked off the binding on the sides, and scraped back the front edge binding using a scalpel blade.

That Tele looks incredible. I must get a tele as I don't think I've got one anywhere (I might have but that shouldn't stop me should it)

Here's my three electrics.

A Gretsch Electromatic given to me by a very very good friend of mine for my 50th birthday.

My first electric guitar - an E-series '80s Squire Tele

and a '96-'97 Fender Jaguar

(Charvel acoustic not included in shot)

Some lovely guitars in this thread.

I've had all sorts over the years, mostly vintage Tele's but also Strats, Jaguars, Mustangs, Les Pauls, LP Jr's, SG's, 335's, 330's, and loads of acoustics as well.

My last trio of decent guitars was a 1997 Danelectro DC59, a 1966 Gibson ES-125T, and a 1960's parts Fender Telecaster with a goldfoil pickup in it. When I sold almost everything off to buy a flat the Danelectro was the electric guitar I kept. I've got a Squier Thinline Tele as well which is a bit more hi-fi sounding than the Dano, but the Dano is just the easiest guitar to play I've ever had.

I've only recently picked up the bass after a number of decades, but always played the guitar. My 3 are L-R....SRV Signature Series Stratocaster, '52 AVRI Telecaster and a 1997 Collectors Edition Stratocaster

Driftwood Junior made by my son from wood found on an Essex beach.

1936 Regal Parlour

1931 National Triolian

I don't play bass anymore if I can help it - I just sits myself down, sticks a glass wine bottleneck on my pinkie and whine away until her highness tells me to shut up.😎
