SH73 Posted September 11 Posted September 11 At the moment I can't get enough of Sometimes I feel like screaming, I repeatedly play the guitar melody/solo and the riff daily. Such a brilliant song, so relaxing to listen to and play too. 1 Quote
ezbass Posted September 11 Posted September 11 I keep forgetting how much I like Skunk Anansie, Cass Lewis is a monster. Quote
DanDoesBass Posted September 11 Posted September 11 Mammoth WVH 👌 One of the best modern rock bands in my opinion ✌️ Quote
Chienmortbb Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Iron Maiden in concert on BBC2. My goodness those guys earn their money. 1000 MPH and yrs Dickinson’s vocals are far from perfect but you’ve to sing, while doing the 110 metres hurdles. I honestly don’t think the fingers of my right hand could move that fast without havi g to play the bass, let alone playing while jumping. Respect 🤘 2 Quote

ProjeKtWEREWOLF Posted Wednesday at 11:25 Posted Wednesday at 11:25 Saw them live on Saturday night, alongside Spread Eagle (whose bass player is also in UFO). Quote
NancyJohnson Posted Wednesday at 11:49 Posted Wednesday at 11:49 I re-ripped a load of Smashing Pumpkins stuff to FLAC over the last few days, so am working through the back catalogue. Oddly cohesive, to be honest, even the wife hasn't bellyached about it. Quote
xgsjx Posted Wednesday at 21:37 Posted Wednesday at 21:37 The Cure - Mixes of a Lost World. I’ve been going to listen to this album for yonks, but never did until today. Why didn’t I listen to it much sooner?! The remixes are fantastic. Quote
Deaklet Posted Thursday at 05:15 Posted Thursday at 05:15 My all time favorite band is Blue Oyster Cult and I am listening to "Joan Crawford" now. Funny enough, never touched a guitar in my life but Buck Dharma is one of my biggest influences, I just kind of "translate" some of his phrases and playing style to bass in my head and I love how much melody and feel it adds to my lines. ProjeKtWEREWOLF Posted Thursday at 08:08 Posted Thursday at 08:08 The first single from the new BLUT AUS NORD record. I've loved these guys for a very long time, despite their sound changes. https://open.spotify.com/prerelease/3Zipf1wkqYRvZnT1F3WQy6?si=CD5sL0MgS3usu6PsvXNjPg&context=spotify%3Aprerelease%3A3Zipf1wkqYRvZnT1F3WQy6 Quote

Well reminded, I used to play Fire of unknown origin to death, and I haven't heard it in years, so I am giving it another listen! 1 Quote
cetera Posted Thursday at 11:30 Posted Thursday at 11:30 (edited) One of my fave Journey songs.... just stunning Featuring, among other things, Steve Perry's amazing, soulful vocals....Neal Schon's perfect guitar solo (Rick Beato's fave solo too!) and Ross Valory's chorus soaked bass and harmonics....
