bassist_lewis
it could, but then it depends who's playing it... and what sort of egg you're intending to boil... kind of depends...
KiOgon
A good USA precision, Nitro cellulose black, (maple neck or rosewood), left face down in the sun on a good day, should be capable of frying an egg on it's back you don't really want a string through body though. BetaFunk
I'm sure it can but the results rest on whether you use an American, Japanese or Mexican egg.
xroads
Sure, if you use it as firewood, you can boil or fry an egg.
BigRedX
I'm sure a Precision bass would provide enough fuel to boil several eggs. Especially a late 70s one...
lojo
No, and it's the very reason I'm turning my back on them after years of loving them above all other variations of bass I've also defended them until now, but deep down I knew there was not enough knobs and dials to cover all requirements. Dingus
Even if a Precision Bass can provide enough raw material to boil an egg , once you have burnt it then you have got nowhere left to go when you want another egg . For the same money as a decent U.S.A Precision you could get yourself a reasonably functional Thai bride off the internet , and for Custom Shop money you could get a girl from the Ukraine , and either of them will boil , fry or scramble your eggs indefinitely . Sometimes Fender basses aren't always the best investment . Edited April 28, 2013 by Dingus
