I saw that too and it's crazy isn't it?
When I was after a one I gave up in the end and bought a Fender HMV bridge instead!

Anyone got any idea what has happened to Leo Quan's company?
I read he is very ill, etc but surely the company is still going - Any mileage in the rumour Fender bought them?

I see it's not a string through jobbie so not as versatile for Fenders IMO. Shame though as it's a great looking unit.

I never found thru body stringing made any difference though to be honest - though possibly an argument for another thread!!

Whoa, £105 for tha Badass. Although a very sturdy bit of kit, which I must admit did change the sound on my Precisions - tho after a while I found it not to my liking, so changed back to the Fender BBOT - I don`t know if I think they add a hundred quids worth of difference. Specially when you can change a pickup for half that and vastly change the sound of yr bass. Still, am sure they`ll remain popular, tho maybe Gotoh etc may see an increase in business.

Hi Chris,

I think I agree with you on that but I'm interested to hear why you think that's the case - please expand!

That has been my experience - The precision with a BBOT has a punch to the attack which seems to get lost with a high mass bridge. I prefer the jazz with a badass II don't know why though maybe there less low end punch in the attack to start with. That could be bullhsit though
