1. I'm interested in the cab too. I will, of course, form an orderly queue behind richardd.
2. Amazing amps these (I have the 350W version) . Dial in just about any tone you need and incredible power and headroom. Also every feature you could possibly need in a bass amp. It puts most modern amps to shame.
3. A simply incredible cab and a dang good price. I waited 5 months for mine and it was worth it. Cheaper price, no wait. Why wait? Buy this cab now!
4. The power amp may be heavy but the power output is astounding. People aren't impressed by the 300W my TE head puts out. Then they hear it. On Mars.
5. Damn, that's a fine looking bass!
6. Reduced to £35. Last chance before fleabay. Also added trade options.
7. Any idea of the weight? I know it's not lightweight
8. EDIT: I'm Removing this post, not appropriate for a sale thread.
9.
I use a contour in a loud rock band & I find I have to crank it to keep up. It's loud enough but just lacking the headroom if you know what I mean. The limiter was lighting up more than I would of liked but if you compress your signal a bit it sorts that out. You could add the extension cab & it's a completely different animal then but defeats the object somewhat.
Sounds like it's going full pelt to keep up. Not ideal. Seeing as the Fender Rumble V3 is based on the contour (correct me if I'm wrong), it may be prone to the same thing. That leaves the ashdown. Perhaps I should be looking at one without a switched mode power supply, maybe that's the problem.
10. I wouldn't mind some advice on this, as I might be in a similar boat as the OP. Looking for a combo to downsize from my TE head / BF Big Twin. Need something that can keep up with a fairly noisy rock band with 2 guitards and a loud drummer. Sounds like a lot to ask. Ideally something 25KG or under and physically smaller than my BF cab. Looking to go in-ear for my monitoring, so mainly for FOH and the lower register stuff on-stage. Hope that makes sense and sorry if I'm thread-jacking. Edit: Those GB combos are getting quite hard to find, so it looks like a shoot-out between the GB contour (if I can find one), the Fender Rumble 500 (V3) and the Ashdown RM-MAG-C210T.
11. If it's any help, I use an electro-harmonix 5751 gold in place of a 12AX7 in my trace head and it has that lovely gentle valve break up. I'm able to blend solid state and valve preamps and have the valve at about 2 thirds. Fair amount of clean headroom and a good all-rounder IMO.
12.
Like spaghetti growing on trees.
That has to be 100% true. It was on TV!
13. I too was fooled until I looked at the pic. Am I an even greater fool for thinking a BF combo is actually not a bad idea? I would certainly look very seriously at buying something like that if it were priced right.
14. Forgot to mention that the lid is hinged at one side with straps that only allow it to open at slightly more than 90 degrees to keep it open. Feel free to make offers. Oh and bump.
15. Manufactured by "Skypak containers LTD" if that helps anyone.
16. Amazing, versatile tone combined with bone crushing power. You need this amp in your life, folks.
17. Got this from work a while ago, as they were having a clear-out. Not sure what this was originally used for, probably a rack-mounted computer. Was thinking I'd use it but it's a bit too big so has lingered in storage once again. Not sure what it's made of, feels like a very tough, hard plastic. Has edge and corner protector and has a sprung handle on both sides. Also has two skid rails on the bottom. Some light scratches but no deep scratches, cracks or dents. As you can see from the pictures, it has foam blocks stuck to the inside for cushioning but if these are not right, I'm sure they can be replaced with more fitting ones. External dimensions: H: 31.5 cm W 67.5 cm D: 62.5 Internal dimensions will be about 0.5 to 1 cm less than the external ones. I would guess the weight is about 10-12Kg but can weigh it you really need to know. Would rather it was collected, as it's quite bulky. Can meet around the north M25 area for fuel money or around Essex, where I gig. If I have no luck with this, I'll consider couriers. Not after any trades, except for maybe a really good drive pedal. EDIT: maybe trade for a decent bass hard-case. 18. ^^ What he said. Fantastic amp. Kinda still wish I had mine. Hmmmm.....
19. Old thread but very interesting, as there's still pretty much nothing out there about this range. How are they a couple of months down the line? The official specs claim they can go really deep, to 22Hz, I believe. How true is that in your opinion?

Bought his EHX Bass Micro Synth. Next day special delivery and very well packaged. Good comms too. Nice one.
21. This is an amazing amp, I have the 350 and can vouch for that. Unbelievably powerful.
22. I am the previous owner and owned it from new. In the years I had it, it did a good hundred gigs (400+) with no problem or complaint. I only sold it because I upgraded to the Big Twin T. I can vouch for everything said above and for the seller himself, who I found to be excellent to deal with. I would only add that I put rubber feet on the bottom and sides, which they did not come with at the time. You're even getting a roqsolid cover for that price.
23. Will give this a try. Will also see if it's the act of loosening and re-tightening the string that has the effect by only 'shlapping' a couple of them.
