1. And Replied. Sold subject to contract.
2. For sale with box and power adapter. Might have the manual too, not sure. As you can see, it has a few scuffs but everything working as it should. £115 including delivery.
3.
AAh do you want to buy anything else? What you needing?
Dammit Pinball, these poor people are coming here for help and you're preying on their weakness, to fund your own habit. Shame on you! Hello, my name is Sharkfinger and I'm a bassaholic (Everyone intones "hello sharkfinger, that's a silly name") I have been clean (down to 3 basses) for nearly 2 years. I have only switched amps from barefaced/TE to Roland (from skag to methodone, if you will) in the last few months. We will always be an addicts. Just one day at time.... EDIT: OK, I did have 2 kit pedals built for me last week, a big muff pi and wooly mammoth clone. It's under control, I can give up any time I want.
4. We have a smoke machine and a mist machine as well. We never seem to use them as just about everywhere we go (pubs, social clubs, wedding venues), we are told not to use them because of smoke detectors setting off fire alarms. Even though our smoke machine has never done this and the mist machine should be even less likely to, the vast majority of venues simply say 'no'. We've invested hundreds of pounds in a fantastic laser that is now pointless without smoke. Our back lights don't look as effective. Only one pub used to let us but they go around the place putting plastic covers on the smoke detectors and can't be bothered to do that any more. We stopped bringing out the smoke machine and laser. Shame really.
5. I had this model in a red stain as my first proper bass. A truly excellent instrument.
6. Bought a laptop from me. No messing about at all and paid promptly.
7.
Here you go..
Haven't heard that for years. Had great memories of headbanging to this back in the day but suffered irreparable brain damage so the memories are gone. I'm sure they were nice.
8. Damn, that's a nice looking bass. Have a bump on me.
9.
I hate to burst the bubble but she didn't play a note of bass on that album. Only strings. But in that video, man...
Don't worry, the bubble is still very much inflated. She may not have played on the track it but she owns that sh!t, if you'll forgive the colloquialism.
10. Paz Lenchantin. When I saw her in the video for A Perfect Circle's début single (Judith), I thought she was one of the effortlessly cool people I'd ever seen. That bit where during the song's breakdown she quickly ties her hair up on her head. Just.... wow. Edit: Here she is in full glory http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTgKRCXybSM
11. I am now leaving all my feedback in Haiku: deal was perfection bought my trace elliot amp I will miss it lots
12. Sorry to hear you find it a bit too bulky. By all means feel free to use my advert. GLWTS. FuNkShUi is excellent to deal with too.
13. Sold! Actually, I don't know how I feel about that. I once told someone they were crazy for selling theirs and here I am doing the same....
14.
thus used to be mine :-)
Yes, it did indeed. Zig sold it to buy a bigger one! Had it a few years now and it's done brilliantly
15.
I am a bit unsure about the speaker outs One cannon One 1/4 Jack does that mean you can run two cabs from separate outs but need the different connectors or "daisychain" cabs sorry to ask!
No problem. You can run two cabs directly from the amp but one will need a 1/4 inch jack and the other will need a speakon. I did this with my two 1x15 cabs i ran with this for a couple of years. You can also take a feed from one (1/4 jack for example) connect it to a speaker, then daisy chain it to another. As long as the combined impedance is not below 4Ohms. With two 8Ohm speakers, the impedance is 4Ohms and is fine.
16. Can't believe I'm doing this but... For sale is my trusty Trace Elliot AH350SMX, 350W (at 4Ohms) of ear-candy one at skull-crushing volume. Manufactured in 1995. Has pretty much every feature you could wish for in bass amp. Don't be fooled by that power rating, it will easily compete with a 500-600W modern amp. Has the SMX preamp with 12-band graphic EQ and dual-band compressor. EDIT: Forgot to mention one of the best features. It has a UV up-light that lights up the whole front panel. Wicked! One of the features is a valve/solid state blend and I've changed the valve for a EHX gold 5751EH for more clean headroom, so I could have the valvey goodness set to 2/3 without overdrive. You'll still get drive if set to valve 100%. Had it about 4 years and has played a lot of gigs with me. Have had it serviced / tested every year and the last service cost me £120, as I did not intend to sell it, so asked them to take care of anything that could potentially cause a problem in the future. Have now downsized to a combo, so this will sit under my stairs for a year, then I'll decide to sell it and I don't want that. This beast needs to roar. Before you ask; yes it's heavy. About 26kg. Postage will not be cheap and your back will hate you. You have been warned. It's worth it, believe it. £300 delivered, or £25 less if collected (from Enfield) Can meet up pretty much anywhere from central Herts to west Essex for fuel cost. Any other questions, just ask. I just want to complete this ad before I change my mind... EDIT 2: Before anyone asks, there are only a select few things I'd take in P/X or trade and that's: 1) Roland D-Bass combo (210, 115 or 115x) 2) Darkglass overdrive pedal 3) Tech21 Sansamp Programmable or Deluxe
17. I am now leaving all my feedback in Haiku Kert purchased from me Barefaced Big Twin T last week simply perfect sale
18. Was looking at a mercedes ML because of the load space, family friendliness and higher seating position. Got something in mind?
19.
What car stuff do you need?
A new one
20. You wait ages for a bus and two come along at the same time. Yes, another Big Twin for sale! Essentially a full range (sub lows to tweeter highs) cab with dedicated mid driver to cut through the mix. It's just immense sounding. I bought this new nearly a year and a half ago. I do about a hundred gigs a year, so this has done between 130 and 150 gigs. It's had a Roqsolid cover (included) which has kept it reasonably protected but there are always going to be signs of wear after that many gigs. Other than the odd chip (coloured in with black marker) along the bottom edge and the wear to the handles, there is a crack along the left side where the port is. I fixed this under instruction from Alex Claber a few months ago and has been absolutely fine. Probably as strong as it was before. The paint chipped off, exposing the wood underneath (with a coating of glue) but I can colour this black if it really bothers anyone. I think I've priced it fairly, bearing the condition in mind. Now, I bought a Roland D-Bass 210 combo a couple weeks ago for smaller gigs but it's so good that I haven't needed to use the BT since. I was going to keep this for bigger gigs but some car stuff has come up and being a bit short of cash, I unfortunately can't keep hold of this. Full specs here: http://barefacedbass...nge/big-one.htm Here's a summary of the specs: Dimensions 36" high x 21" wide x 16" deep 90cm x 53cm x 40cm Weight 57 lbs (26kg) BROADBAND Sensitivity 98dB - similar to a conventional boutique 2x12" USABLE FREQUENCY RANGE 30Hz - 22kHz Recommended Amp Power 300-1500W RMS Maximum LF & BROADband Output 127dB -similar to a high quality 6x10" or 4x12" but with bigger lows Nominal Impedance 4 ohms Price £725. I'm open to sensible offers but no trades, please, need the cash for car stuff. Can courier and I estimate the fee will be around £30-40 for UK mainland delivery. I can deliver/meet up for fuel cost anywhere from central Hertfordshire to East Essex and I'd prefer this. Payment by Paypal gift (you pay the fees), bank transfer or cash on collection.
