3. Any chance you're down south any time soon? I'd really be interested, as otherwise you're just too far away.
4. Well, that certainly answers the question in regards to the build quality of the two GK cabs, thanks. What I'd still like to know the answer to is the question of enclosure size. All things being equal, does the larger enclosure of the Neo give it an advantage over the MBE?
5. Like many, I like the promise and price of the 212MBE cab and I'm not scared of doing a little tweaking. However, what advantage (other than build quality) does it have over the Neo212-II cab? Looking at the manuals, the specs are virtually the same, in terms of power handling and frequency response. The only obvious physical difference is cabinet size. From reading other posts, I gather that a physically bigger enclosure means better low end response and sensitivity. Is that correct? If so, is it better to bite the bullet and get the bigger cab, even though it's more than twice the price? In terms of portability, the obvious choice is the 212MBE with it's smaller size and footprint, hell I could get 2 for about the same price as a Neo 212-II and as I said, do the bracing and padding myself. Thoughts, please. TIA
6. I used to own one, along with an SWR 2x10. I couldn't give you an exact figure but I'd say look around the bottom of the 'low-mid' range. Maybe around the 60Hz range?
7.
This is a really nice sounding amp which i was able to get a variety of tones from (once i learnt how to use it properly ) It's 280 Watts at 4ohms, but like all trace gear, this seems to be a conservative power rating.
I can attest to this, I have the 350W version of this amp. The output is unbelivable; my similarly rated ashdown 'little giant' (a digital amp) flat out isn't even as loud mine with the master set to 1. I'm not exagerrating. The tone is lovely and very versatile. Good luck with the sale,
8. Think I ended up selling this on eBay. Not like me to not update this thread as sold but will do it now.
9. Bought my hiscox lite-flite case. Good communication and no messing about when he came to collect. Recommended.

11. This is a few years old now. Was used for a couple of months for domestic gigs, then put into storage. Sadly, never got to be taken abroad. Therefore, it has few surface marks from light use but nothing serious. There's a little ding which I've tried to capture in the photos. Will fit standard Fender basses and has gray fur inside. Still has the key to lock it. £55 o.n.o Would consider a p/x for a decent 5-string only. No other trades considered. Collection only, as can't be bothered to package. Can deliver or meet up within reasonable distance to Enfield / North London or Essex for a fuel cost.
12. Bought deaver Ashdown Little Giant 350. Smooth transaction, thanks.

Bought my Peavey T-Max amp. Paid quickly and communication was great. Recommended.
14. Bought this recently out of curiosity. Was after one about a year ago but they were going for about £250 last year and I didn't want to pay that much. Since then I bought my Trace head and fell in love with it. Then I saw one come up for £125 recently and snapped it up. Its a really good sounding, versatile amp and a bit lighter than my Trace head but I just prefer the sound of my Trace and the Peavey's a bit over-spec'd for a backup amp. Will trade/PX for a very small, lightweight amp to use as a backup. Minimum 250W at 4Ohms. Would consider selling for what I paid, which was £125. Not in a great hurry to sell. Here's some blurb: A late 90's classic solid state solid state pro amp c/w valve preamp on the front end that can can be switched in/out or mixed, I have owned this amp for around 5 years with a an Ashdown 4x10 cabinet(not included but selling in a seperate auction) and although it does have various cosmetic marks this is a fantastic sounding amp .See spec below: Dimensions 4"h X 19"W X 15"D (two rack space) Wattage 500W @ 2 ohm load, 350W @ 4ohm load Effects foot switchable effects loop w/high - low pad Controls pre & gain, ch 1 (tube) gain, ch 2 (trans) master volume, crossover control Other direct low Z out w/ground lift switch and pre/post EQ Condition Not in mint condition, with scratches and bumps and the plastic on the knobs a bit beat-up but everything works as it should and nothing is falling off. Check out the pics.
15. Zig mate, don't sell this head. You'll regret it.
16. These are excellent cabs, specially with the EV loaded. Someone buy this.

18. Bought my band's JBL JRX115 PA speakers. Good communication and arrived at the arranged time to pick up with no messing about.
19. I have exactly this amp but with the green carpet cover instead of vinyl. It is by far the best amp I've owned, the sound and power is just unbelievable. Observer, don't sell it, you'll be sorry. If you're not sure about the sound, try changing the pre-amp valve. I changed mine for an EH 5751 "Gold", which did wonders. There is nothing out there right now that can compete with this amp in that price bracket, I know because I looked.
20.
What's the weight like on these compared to the cabs I sold you matey? Been considering upgrading our PA speakers (Peavey Pro series) Cheers! James
They're a bit heavier. At a guess, I'd say 5-10Kg more. Still easy to lift and carry.
21. now on eBay
22. Blimey, you really are having a clearout!
23. AFAIK, no one's built an amp that can go down to 1 ohm per channel Just wanted to make sure you knew about the parallel mono mode..... Was running the lower powered version of that power amp until recently
Yup the RH450 is purely being used as a preamp... The EBS's are 4 ohms each so it's delivering about 700W RMS per cab . Sadly the PLX does not bridge into 2 ohms :-) Also works well using my Sansamp as a preamp... Cheers Mark
24. Sold him my band's QSC power amp. Absolutely no messing about. Fast payment and great communication throughout.
25.
And my grown up version :-)
Glad you like the power amp. Guess you're using the TC purely as a preamp? What is the impedance of those cabs? 4 Ohm each is ideal for that amp, as it goes down to 2Ohm per channel.
