Ok. Thanks for the suggestions.
I've looked at rs and Cpc. They have them, but to order 2 would cost me something in the region of £17! And all for less than £2.50 worth of parts!!
Is there somewhere I could order two without ridiculous postage costs?
Hi.
A friend of mine bought a secondhand x2 system here, lent it to someone and it was returned in pieces.
I have found the part that he needs, but the only place i can find it for sale is in the states, and they have a no international delivery policy ;(
the offending part is here - http://www.fullcompass.com/product/378977.html
does anyone have any idea of a suitable alternative or this part available in the uk?
cheers

Style over substance.

This should include oasis, and a whole load of others too!
For all I actually loathe kol and what they stand for, the bass sound is awesome in this song. I did notice that live, he seems to be using an audio kitchen rig- somewhat similar to Alex James at the final blur gig. Loved that sound too! This could be expensive!!!
Surely an email to spares dept couldn't hurt?
If you get no joy there try emailing the jap head office and tell them you didn't get a satisfactory response. You may find that the uk guys suddenly start being helpful
Not used one of those, but I've been using the polytune mini for over a year now with bass and no issues. Apparently the polytune mode doesn't work with bass, but the single string mode is absolutely fine
I do it reasonably regularly.
The pace is actually a 35" scale (iirc) and therefore more like playing a fretless vertically if you understand what I'm saying.
So in theory the transition should be fairly straightforward
I dont think there is much doubt that they do have some real gems in their catalogue.
I'm really interested in giving the thunderball a good bash when we see some in retailers stores.
Also waiting for the di pedal to arrive
In answer to the first part- you'd have to widen the slots in the nut to accommodate a bead tuning, but not in an mdp kinda way
Tbh, it might be easier to fit a new nut
The tc bh250 is probably worth a look.
Comes in around £230 new.
There are a few guys on here that own them.
The Hartke has superb bang for the buck too.
£65?
I'm gassing (and probably always will!) for a Steve Harris sig, two a side aria pro 2 - sb series, maple board p bass, a westbury track 2 or 4, mooer micro di, and thunderball.
