1. I'm sure lots of folk will take a chance, take a chance take a chance..
2. Those ashtrays are cool;)
3. That's the impression I had Rob . Saves all the faffing about on computers;)
4. Thanks Ben It looks ok from what I've seen . As you say tho', if takes a lot of messing around it may not be worthwhile getting it .
5. ..and replied;)
6. One other thing; I wonder if there is much difference between active/ passive steinberger s and the passive only ones?
7. Used to have a hohner stick bass ( professional b2a?). The action was brilliant . Could even do a small bit of acceptable slapping. If you slap, you'll love it . My only concern was the pickups. They were emg. But the sound just did not cut it IMHO . Not clear enough, no definition. My SteinBerger on the other hand , is such a professional sounding bass. The spirit series seem to take criticism for some reason. I saw a couple. Of demos on you tube and they seemed fine to me. Good for metal, and the drummer will love you
8. Amazing the amount of stick headless, basses used to get. Thing is , in small areas Mr. /Mrs. Drums will soon change their opinion;)
9. Boss odb3 ? (Get one cheap on here) there are so many compressors and boost pedals, you'd be surprised;) . There are loads of seperate pedals , from loads of different brands. You could even , buy a boss case , and have all3 that you require from boss. Over to other basschatters..
10. Could it be the jack ? Is it an active bass? If so, could it be the circuitry on that?
11. Glad you've found the sound. I remember, when I got my Aguilar head/cab the last amp I got before band split up.). There was a sound that just got me beaming. It held its own with 2 guitarists and a loud drummer, and was a very different sound from anything I'd gigged with. Long may it continue for you.
12.
Toy?
Sorry nigel it's probably me being a it old fashioned. It does look like a load of fun. It's not quite guitar , not quite keyboard but very keyboard like in terms of features. I know it's app related . As mentioned above, it's very educational and would be good for schools etc.Woulc it be played in the dog and duck ?
13. Well, it's high tech ( for a toy IMHO ) . For me , it reminds me too much of Chad valley meets guitar hero.never had guitar hero, but could never get used to my friends. Just felt wrong. Interesting to see how well it does.
14. They look good, for someone like me who wants to do very basic recording. Please let me know if you have. Cheers
15. Ted, really sorry. I've been looking at this for ages. Unfortunately , I can't see where I can fit it in my flat. Please have a bump instead;(
16. This is unreal Ted, if it could be folded up so I could jump on a bus with it ,then I think that I should take it off your hands. Let me know. Cheers
17. Nice green bump
