1. One of those peoples material I've overlooked, but I do feel sad for him. Must be horrible to be told you have a ltd life expectancy left. Sad to hear
2. Wooks What may help you, is if you tell us whereabouts on the uk ( and a round what time of year) you intend to be in. Sorry to sound odd, but it may narrow things down etc. Have a bump on the thread any way
3. There was a chap on here , maybe last year asking for old pedals so that he can repair them. Should be a thread somewhere .
4. Cool . Is there a link or something ?
5. Glad you're going. Next to Alex life son , he is my fave guitar hero;) I believe brian beller is playing , but not stu Hamm tho'. My friend sent me txt, but I'm in hospital and he is moving house. He may get tkts for hammy o nearer the time, but I doubt it. Seen him obviously a few times before , so not a huge catastrophe if I miss out
6. So, any trades?
7. Like where's the checkerboard ?
8. If you've joined the line 6monkey thing, it should not be too hard . You will probably either go on updates- or go to the line 6 license .
9. I have one . Great price. Bump for you!
10. Haven't bothered much with kc, as they were a bit before my time. Will have to get round to it. Does tony levin still do solo gigs?
11. Looks good . I'm trying to workout what happens when you plug a bass in. Have a bump
12.
Steinberger copy ?
Yes
13. They're not hugely expensive either.
14. Now that Edgar Froese has passed away,I wonder if the Beeb will do a documentary on Tangerine Dream ?!? About time IMHO
15. Stumbled across this, while in bed with the flu. I liked the programme. The presenter was very knowledgeable , and enthusiastic. Thought that they could've strung another episode out ,and that it was a bit rushed at the end. Regarding Kraftwerk; this is probably about the 3 rd long documented programme that I have seen over the years. Talent wise , they have got it . However, that Morley bloke needs to listen toKlaus schulze, Tangerine Dreamm,Jean MichelJarre , Eno etc to find the real deal ambient wise. I am tempt d to buy autobahn , but if I join spotify , will not bother. They don't move around much. I do admire the fact that, for their entire career, they handled the press on their terms . But unless they had a spectacular light show , they are soooo boring .
16. Cool!
17. Obvious really. You have 2 bands in one . Just take Mr. Drums with you, and leave the other band behind .
18. Apparently , the scuffle started after Gezzer was ridiculed for the godawful 'never say dye 'album
19. Don't do sunburst , or precisions normally. ( I know that's not really sunburst), but a fab looking fender!
20. My first few gigs, were with a drum machine operated by a keyboard player. I enjoyed the experience . At one gig , it stopped working, and I did a little solo to get us out of jail;) As for the Ibanez; I love the satiriani vibe and tbh this band sound like a very positive outfit I've been in a band where 2 guitarists both had fender champ amps, no fx and the sound was tedious to me. Did you play rivers of Babylon ?; Still , you made the right choice. If you have any issues, address them early.
21. Try ch guitars
22. A friend of mine thinks that it may be , one of those secret gigs for fan club members only.
23. They'll probably be sold out too. Might just stick with the dog 'n'duck / red lion / dead banker etc.
