    I own one of these basses and they’re fantastic ! My go to bass is a Skjold but for blues and rock gigs it didn’t really fit the bill (mainly on looks) so one of these basses came up and I can honestly say it’s perfect for what I needed. It plays great, looks the part and sounds very good.

Surely this combo selling at such a low price is a reflection of the new passion for lightweight gear ? I own the same combo with s 2 x 10 extension cab and although heavy and a bit bulky, it sounds awesome . 575 watts for £135 !! Someone had a bargain.

    I’ve bitten the bullet and ordered an iRig HD 2. We’ll see how easy it is for a complete technophobe like me to work with Garage band . It comes with a stripped down version of Amplitude apparently as well. oh the learning curve ahead..........

    I take it an interface is something to plug my bass in then connects to the iPad via fire wire? Which one would you recommend Kevin ?

    Apologies as I know this has been discussed before but I’ve searched the forum and not really found an answer. I normally practise using an aging Boss micro Br which I download mp3’s to then plug my bass in and adjust the levels, plug my headphones in and practise silently. Unfortunately the boss has developed an intermittent fault and it’s time to move on, so lm thinking, I’ve got an iPad Air 2, what else do I need for silent practise? I’m a bit technologically challenged so please go easy on me 🙂

    Cheers guys, I bought it today as a starter bass for my daughter. A bit on the heavy side but I won’t tell her ? It plays nice, I’m going to clean it up and give it a set up before Christmas Day. ?

    I'm trying to find some info on this Bass. It's from a generic Jazz with no markings apart from this Blue circle on a black ellipse decal. Can anyone help?

    I have this exact setup. There's a lot of talk about the 15" combo being woolly but when it's paired with the matching 2 x10 cab it's awesome. The combo's a little heavy but I use a dolly or if the venue's not accessible with the dolly, a drummer 🙂 Even on it's own the combo can be tamed with the EQ on hand. It just takes a little patience to get to know the expansive EQ controls 🙂
