  1. 'Best', no (because there's no such thing) - 'Preferred', yes.
  2. A knee! Or one of these if you can find one. (skip to about 90 seconds in where she plays in front of the window if you don't like the song!)
  3. Each way - 39 miles for one band, 34 for the other.
  4. Go to the bottom of all my posts to see how quickly you can get over daft band names.
  5. You'd think - given this particular forum's pathological obsession with weight - that this'd be quite popular. No pleasing some people.
  6. I don't know where to start with 2:09 - 2:14. Besides, YOU play 'Sit Down', 'Dakota' and 'Brown Eyed Hole' and look "happy" about it. GO ON!!!
  7. I have one, I got it when my ancient Fender Rumble 60 started to hatch gremlins. The weight (or lack of) sold it to me immediately! It's not as loud as the Fender, but has a nice growly tone with a dab of the 'spectralflump' or whatever the hell it's called. Build quality seems nice - (I took it to bits for no reason like I do with pretty much everything I own!) time will tell on the durability front. I use li'l combos as monitors with the PA doing the out-front work, so the on-board DI gets plenty of use, and I like the 'post FX' feature. It ain't loud, though. Of my 2 regular drummists it's fine with the one that likes to frequent jazz bands, there's even a bit of head room. With the Bonham fanatic, however, it's like it's not even on, even at full throttle. I had to buy a cheap 1x15 combo just hear literally anything!
  8. Yes, and did so until quite recently. I sold my Squier VMP5 to pay for my Fender, and I'm sometimes not really sure how much of an upgrade it was.
  9. Dare one ask what use you would possibly have for such an oddity?
  10. ImgBB is working well for me at the mo.
  11. https://ibb.co/dArMk7 https://ibb.co/ivagk7 My 675.
  12. Utterly unhelpful post, but... I approve. Carry on, that man.
  13. As to the grub screws, I usually throw some metric Strat ones in as they're a lot shorter. Usually only 2 or 3 squids a set on the feebay.
  14. Well, that puts a new spin on these ridiculous 'relic' jobs, they'll all be offering this as an 'authentic road damage' option, now. Is this why those jazzy-types tend to play with the bass up in their armpits?
  15. Love Vol 4, do I remember hearing that it was in effect a TI solo album as the rest of them were too out of it to be any use, or am I going happily down mad street?
  16. This is without a doubt the single most useful thing I have ever read upon this thing called 'the internet'. Have yourself a biscuit, sir. A choccy one. In foil.
  17. Now I know what happens if a Dingwall gets chucked into a blender. Strangely, I quite like them, but have no desire to play one.
  18. I'm in. I'll bring, er, whatever I've got at the time (probably 3 or 4 5-stringers) and, of course................. ' it ' . You all wanna play it, you know you do!
  19. That's how I used mine, I had both, but didn't bother with the left one. I never had a stand for mine, so moving into thumb position mostly consisted of holding the thing up!
  20. I think they were 3mm wide, it doesn't take loads of tension, just enough to pinch them together a little. You could use string, though it might be a bit fiddly.
  21. FWIW I have a MIM J5, and that one is exactly the same as mine. (apart from looking like a bar of Shield, obviously)
  22. No, it wasn't all the way down, If I remember right the strings were about 3/8" away from the end of the board.
  23. Those were just to move the spacing to how I preferred it, they weren't any lower, the A was still in the original position. I just dropped the bridge down and then turned it up until it stopped buzzing, if I'm honest! (super technical, I am!)
