  1. Past hour
  2. I've just noticed that the E string isn't sitting on the bridge saddle in the photos making the string alignment look odd 🤦🏻‍♂️ I'll update the photos this evening.
  3. I have a £12 posted M-Expression pedal. Works fine - I think I had to switch the TRS around to work but I was creating a patch box for expression so it worked quite well.
  4. New album from the maestro. Still sealed. £9 posted UK.
  5. Interestingly, neither of the projects I’m currently involved with required an audition, they came about through people I’d played with previously.
  6. It might be in the thread, but it's a long one.... Would I have to use the Source Audio expression pedal with the C4, or are there cheaper alternatives? Thanks.
  7. The original Darkglass Duality Fuzz pedal with silver face. Discontinued model, now replaced with the DFZ. Very good, fully working condition. Velcro on back. Original box included. £160 including uk postage.
  8. Ah yes, of course. Good luck in your quest.
  9. This is sold, I'll update the thread.
  10. I think they've developed it mainly for people looking to upgrade the MetroExpress, as everything will fit nicely in the standard Sadowsky control cavity. Honestly I'll probably just cut it and solder the two ends together as the pickup and ground wires will need soldering anyway so two more wires won't make a huge amount of difference.
  11. Dead on 8lb Dan. The tried and tested bathroom scales method.
  12. Well, my JMJ Mustang seems to be hanging about so it is with an even heavier heart that I’m putting my trusted MW Mustang up for sale. Those in the know, know this is a fairly rare beast; this one is in great condition despite having done many gigs with me, no dings or chips that I can see. Tiny lacquer crack in the neck pocket that was there when I got it 8 years ago….I think they all have this as the poly is quite thick. Comes with fender gig bag and has recently been strung with hybrid slinkies. Collection from Rotherham or the usual dodgy service station meet up.
  13. The struggles we have to endure for our 'art'.
  14. I was in a band that played all those artists music. We just called it country rock.
  15. To be fair they are ok but i do take care going down stairs with them on. Cant leap over the monitors and jump into the crowds with them on Dave
  16. That's the first 5 stringer Ric i've seen in use at a gig. Nice one and love the colour. Dave
  17. Finished….. Absolutely delighted with these Sunn P basses. Honestly. We’re not talking Fender custom shop here, but we absolutely are talking “up there” with any MIM Fenders and even some of the US made stuff I’ve had. Yes, I’ve done a lot of work, but I’ve very much enjoyed doing it, and now I have another fabulous Sunn to add to my collection. FYI….. the strings are LaBella low tension flats.
  18. It doesn't look like the battery clip is detachable which is a bit of an oversight for those with a separate battery compartment. A 2 pin connector might be your best option: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/265942800623?
  19. It doesn’t weigh much, but the Phil Jones Bass X4 Nanobass combo amp is no lightweight. Its ability to produce warm, clean lows is impressive for an amp its size. Some features: - 3.5mm aux in and headphone jacks - Bluetooth 5.0, can play track from phone while plugged in - very compact, great for home practice - the lens x,y and z axis does not go longer then a plastic bottle - great clean channel with adjustable low-mid-high - I also casually do some guitar with my Hx-stomp multi effect, works perfectly and even have some extra warm tone add to it Comes with amp+power cable IMG_2338.HEIC IMG_2339.HEIC IMG_2340.HEIC IMG_2341.HEIC IMG_2342.HEIC
  20. You might have an early Korean version. Keep the wooden bridge , they sound better , there is a sweet spot for it. If the tuning pegs are stiff , clean them out and give them a dash of lube. They’re great little basses. With rounds they have some serious twang , with older flats they have an authoritative old school thump. With the older ones you have to remove the neck to access the truss rod. They’re incredibly stable , in twenty five years I’ve adjusted mine only twice. But it’s a pain to have to remove the neck to adjust it. Don’t think they’re delicate because of the light weight. They really are tough little buggers. Enjoy! They really are lovely little things.
  21. How is Planky 2 coming on Samian?
  22. Surely it must have been a defective pickup? I'm sure you're strong but your thumb isn't a hammer or a hydraulic press! I've never seen anything like this in my life.
