  1. https://www.fmicassets.com/Damroot/Original/10002/019-4700A_SISD.pdf This link leads to a fender manual of this bass, the diagram and stuff clearly explains the functions of electronics and nobs etc..
  2. Price now at 1750, will be withdrawn next week. Hi guys, Im selling my fender American standard Jaguar bass, In good playing condition and because its a bass from 2015-16 it have some sign of use on it. No peeling paint or malfunction electronics. I have upgraded the original tuner to a Fender drop D hipshot, very useful and its not limited to drop d, you can drop it to anything you want. Just put on a new set of dr pure blues string couple weeks ago and it sounds fantastic. The main reason im selling it is because im not a big fan of this black and white color... as you can see on pic 2 I have a olympic white tele and a customshop jazz bass. If you happen to have a olympic white version im happy to trade with extra cash :)))) Special feature: - PJ setup with active/passive switch and three switch that controls on and off for the PJ pickups. - Offset body, conformable to play with - Make your friend jealous - The Fender hipshot cost like 140 pound... a expensive but practical upgrade * Does not come with case or any other accessories, the original case is fender deluxe case you can get it for around 150 pound for a new one, open for negotiations or musician stingray 5 string trading.
  3. Here a Darkglass collab with Evangelion, as far as I'm aware, this is the only one on market in EU and UK(maybe Im wrong). No need to talk too much about the sound cause its just the legendary Alpha Omega. I brought it for collection purpose, never been out of the house. The average price on eBay is around 340gbp, which does not include import taxes etc.. with all the payables it comes to the price I set. Instead of getting one from Japan and hoping the pedal stays in one piece after a month of brutal shipping process, why not just get this one? Prefer test and pickup in SE1 London, price won't drop, if not sold within this month I will take it back to New Zealand with me. Comment for any questions
  4. Thanks mark, my old target product was flame and Birdseye maple etc.. as these has higher profit margins, but I've decided not going to do it, Im just gonna stay at home and be a lazy uni student just like all my friends haha
  5. I was thinking to be a retailer role, not sure where the necks are produced but I think something like Korea or Indonesia? Cuz China is only known for producing some squire long time ago
  6. I decided that this might be a stupid idea for me to do as a student, I recently bought a collaboration alpha omega with a Japan anime company, the shipping + tax cost almost 30% of the effect it self.... its crazy
  7. Yea the law&copy right side is what I'm concerning as well. The producer of the necks has been under the radar for really long, one major reason is that because they are in Asia, where Fender wouldn't spend all the money and resource just to sue them. To be honest most of their product is just ripoffs and much cheaper then Fender... Where people only need to spend couple hundred pounds to get a same looking neck as these special custom shop necks.
  8. Thanks for you suggestions! Im not going to produce any of the necks, I just happened to know people that builds that (outside uk) with much cheaper price than warmth and uk&Europe based luthier, their built quality is not the best but slightly better then current fender Mexico necks. Being honest with you, I love bass and my bands but I also want to make some money through this industry. I'll dig in more, thanks!
  9. \ That's definitely true, my other ideas is to have J necks on P bass( I know it sounds wired but there are people with small hands that likes that I think), with full customizable ie. headstock shape, material from normal maple to Brazilian rosewood. For necks with normal specs such as roast, flame, Birdseye maple etc.. I can do it around 3-400 I think, but that might still be too high for the current market, especially its a off brand product. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion!
  10. Thanks! This is actually I started with this idea, I tried to custom built a j neck from Warmoth but it was too expensive, around 1k usd for flame maple and non Brazil rose wood finger board. These raw materials are not that crazy expensive at all, its just the cost of production is high.
  11. Hi guys, Im a uni student based in London and trying to do some market research and might do it as a par time job during my holiday. The question is : Would you buy a custom bass neck with material such as triple A level flame maple, birds eye maple etc.. in the range of 300-600 pound? Not made by me of course, tuners and everything installed, a ready to use product. *This is not an advertisement post(at least not yet), just want to know if there's a potential market. I've been in New Zealand for quite some time and I have to say the market is small compare to UK, so I thought I should come to this forum and ask you guys :))
  12. Hi guys, Here is a beautiful custom made Birds eye maple 20 frets neck for sale, it is slightly roasted for the color, the hole positions fits the Fender jazz bass, with vintage style Gotoh machine heads, no rust all lubed and smooth. Rod and frets are in great condition. Weight should be around the same with standard maple neck. Not entirely sure where it was made and the original price(should be much higher then the listing price, since these wood isn't cheap) , it was a gift from a very good family friend who used to play bass, I checked Warmth's AAA Birdseye maple and I think this one can be considered as a AAA level as well. The built quality is good, much better than Fender Mexico bass necks. Its a tele head style P bass neck feeling, I'm selling as I prefer my jazz bass's whole rosewood neck, it just looks better with the white body plus I don't really need an extra bass neck at the moment. Only one thing on this neck that isn't perfect is that the face with the mount holes has been polished a bit after the paint work, but it does not effect anything as fender don't event paint that part. Details in pictures. London SE1 pickup only, cash or transfer. Comment if you have any questions. Thanks.
