Never had one but always thought it was a good-looking bass - they used to come up quite regularly but haven't seen one for ages. Crafter as a brand's pretty decent, a guitarist mate has a Crafter acoustic, which plays & sounds way better than the price tag suggests Just had a quick look & there are a couple of CX100s going for £135 & £115 respectively. If this one's the same ball park - go for it!

I contacted Hipshot re this and they advised to use aluminium HVAC tape, easy enough to do and works well.

Probably just a personal feeling that could be zeitgeist - been through a few boutique basses but still go back to trusty old squier jazz bass. Seems to be the winner. That said, I did own an 80’s Smith 6 string that sounded incredible, but couldn’t ever get used to the 6 strings.

i don't get many complaints, its fairly big, its like a can of vim with a bramley apple on top hope it can sort that out. al give it a try, cheers

That may be the thing. I thought it was a tilt adjust but there is no screw coming out of the bottom so it isn't that. I can't find a key to fit those screw holes at the moment, but when I can dig out the whole set I have I will give it a go.

Swede, pepper & butter* go very well together. *Other spreads are available but they're never quite as good.

Sunday and Tuesday rehearsals this week with each of my bands. Suffering from severe lurgy so both were sit down affairs with absolutely no singing. Made them fun by enjoying a session man approach to the bass parts.

And streets don’t need nourishment, so feeding them is pointless. However, I have seen some awful things growing on some streets, definitely a culture of some description 🤢 .

Had 30 minutes or so to play with the Anagram last night. Updated the firmware straight away - far more straightforward than updating the Helix! Whizzed through the factory presets and had a play with some individual blocks. There are some lovely drives, as expected, and some of the amps sound great without cabs or further low/high cuts, which are essential with the Helix. Just a couple of niggles so far. The volume over headphones is much quieter than the helix. Even turning up the headphone output and setting it to +10dB, it's still nowhere near as loud as my helix. I know my ATH-m50x are 38 ohm, but even my little Katana:Go drives them louder than the Anagram. DG Suite is very underwhelming. It looks pretty and makes updating the firmware a piece of cake, but coming from HX Edit, it lacks basic expected functions, such as remotely controlling presets/scenes on the Anagram, and preset editing. I really hope this will be enabled in a future update. I'll have all day to play with it tomorrow before the evenings gig. I don't expect to have a gig ready presets created, as I haven't yet planned out how I'm going to design my workflow. Downsizing from the Helix LT with 8 stomps/snapshots to 3 will take some thought.
