  2. Selling the following straps as one package deal: - fender deluxe vintage style guitar strap in black leather - virtually unused - https://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Fender-Deluxe-Vintage-Style-Guitar-Strap-Black/QHE?origin=product-ads&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22290702940&gclid=CjwKCAjw3_PCBhA2EiwAkH_j4vW3vZ6K6J850A8b7zEk1hf77h2irGdYdWvXLOr97r7F9GMrQMvpIxoCYkgQAvD_BwE - 2x Comfort Strapp Pro Bass Series Long 38"-45" (adjusts at one end). - Used but plenty of life left.
  3. I would think so, they are the same scale length. I don't know for certain though...
  4. Here is a pretty much brand new Dingwall NG3 5 String. I've had this for 2 months, used it for 1 gig, and a couple studio session. Hands down the best 5 string bass I have ever player, but sadly not quite the right fit for me. The action is crazy low and yet the strings ring true and clear. Tone from this thing absolutely beastly. This has all the new upgrades Dingwall introduced this year: - Minimalist bridge - Smaller active/passive switch (for no snags and harder to knock by accident) - Neck binding - String bullets (individual string retainers) Finish is a gorgeous black with subtle sparkle. Matt finished knobs that seem to be rubberized, are super easy to grab mid gig and tweak away. I have all the original case and goodies, plus packaging so all good to get this shipped too - will be £35 to UK (contact me if needing shipped further afield and I can see what is possible). I am sure I will regret this - I was giddy after the one gig I played with it after the sense of ultimate low end power. But I know it will mostly sit in my studio unused for the various projects I am involved with. Feel free to get in touch with any questions.

  5. Not mine but belongs to a guy I know who had to move the bridge down a tad to get the intonation right in his 66 P
  6. If I inspect my AVII closely it is pretty much flawless. My Squier 40th feels nicer to play with a satin neck and sounds very similar. But I love the Fender
  7. 20 minutes for Tool!?! I wonder which song they'll do.
  8. It's for a retailer to decide what level of service they are willing/prepared to offer and for you, as a potential customer, to decide whether you wish to buy from them. Everyone has a different take on what is "reasonable". That's the long and short of it, really.
  9. Made a purchase from Pete. I messaged him whilst I was out of the country asking him to hold the product, until my return. His communication was excellent, he always responded quickly to my questions & he agreed to hold it for me. A few days before my return, I completed the payment & gave him my expected return date. Within a few hours, he sent me pics of the item, packaged & ready for despatch. I received the delivery this morning. It was expertly packaged, this was not going to get damaged in any way, shape at all. I couldn’t have wished for a smoother transaction. Thanks for your excellent communication, expert packaging & for keeping hold of this item for me. Cheers Bernie
  10. Over the last 20 years I’ve had literally hundreds of basses. I realised it was all wasted in the end as all I need to do is just get a few guitars I love and use. Happens to be a few USA Fenders, but could easily have been a Stingray or Shuker. But for the rigours of gigging I trust the USA ones the most.
  11. Short answer: Yes Longer answer: If you’re using it to run more than one pedal, the total current draw should be no more than 500mA - just add up what each pedal needs. It would still be possible to encounter problems if one a pedal causes noise in another one. (Cue huge rabbit hole.)
  12. His Substack is an essential read for me every Saturday morning. Thrilled he's getting what I hope is a good payday here.
  13. The Japanese Metros are some of the best basses in the world, regardless of money; glwts
  14. That bridge positioning is fairly typical for ‘73. Both of my ‘73 jazzes have the saddles almost hanging off the bridge plate. In fact I’ve added longer intonation screws to compensate.
  15. Totally, and is it just me or is that bridge placement just a touch lower than it should be? G string saddle's almost off the plate!

  17. No it`s just a cash grab to pay for Noel`s no doubt very expensive divorce. Not knocking him by the way, I like Oasis and Noel`s solo stuff but sod paying that kind of money to see any band.

  19. This does my head in. https://www.jimmyegypt.com/fender-1973-jazz-bass-black-block-markers-3-color-sunburst-pre-owned?srsltid=AfmBOoopjVqdyrelLPtMO-6LMnepN2iFpW6y7HMswVNDJ1za1e2C5xmCOVY The bridge and the pickguard are obviously replaced. Come on lads!
  20. Blue Murder band had so much potential. Shame it never came to more. First class musicianship. Dave
  21. The cover art for the Blue Murder LP is full on homoerotic Pirate action
  22. Can anyone tell me if I can use the pictured boss adapter with a bassrig. OE suggest only using a regulated power supply and I have no idea what this is. I use a voodoo lab ISO 5 to power my board but I may want to run one of my bassrigs on its own. The adapter is 9v and 500mA and I think the bassrigs current draw is 150mA
