Just a quick shoutout re the above. Many shops/chains have gone recently, and many of those left have a few token basses at best, not these guys though, a great selection and very good customer service.

If any of them are on the Mu:zines wanted list they will be more than grateful to receive them.

If I'm reading this correctly, it appears the venue wants 10% for recommending bands to those who book the place if those bands actually get a booking. Given that agents charge at least that in commission, it doesn't seem too bad. Perhaps I'm missing something.

Yeah it does miss the Gotoh tuners but the pickup switch is a nice upgrade. That roasted neck feels amazing, and I was really surprised by the quality of the fretwork. -

I've never seen one, if you're really on the case however try asking on Talkbass or the Ernie Ball Forums. Good luck.......

The original had gotoh tuners, so the current version is a downgrade! Sadly. -

Sansamp are fairly scooped, whereas JJ sounded quite mid-boosted on the earlier material. You could look at the Tech21 Para Driver, which has sweepable adjustable mids, set it anywhere from 2kHz upwards and boost, doing that with the Dirnt should get you nicely there without needing the Ampeg.

Will be delivered in a brand new semi-rigid Gator GL-Bass case (totally adapted to this bass) as advised by Heiko himself. Non-smoking environment as usual. The bass has been fully set up professionally. It has received a new battery and is fitted with a brand new set of Ernie Ball Slinky 2836 round wound nickel strings (45 - 65 - 80 - 100 - 130), which really serve this bass (it will be delivered with a slightly used set of D'Addario E to C nickel strings). What you see is what you get ! Look carefully at the photos taken from different angles and lights to see the real condition, which is as new. Here is the link to the 21 photos in high resolution: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1pbN_y8FJ75dOuT-PyjNZcNLWKjca8w6J?usp=sharing As I've stopped playing bass and focusing on piano only, I'm selling some pieces of my collection, like this one. Just got myself this little beauty today. Had been looking for a 7-pounder (or under) and this came up at exactly 7lbs. Although it’s heavier than my Superlight TT I’m finding that playing full scale basses standing up is becoming a bit of a stretch hence my search. Got it from Guitar Village, my first time of dealing with them which I have to say was excellent. Sounds and plays beautifully, as I’d expect. I’m not really into fake relicing or blocks but somehow these just seem to really suit this bass.

We had a similar issue once, and it turned out the venue staff just didn’t fully get what we needed. Took a direct chat with the manager to sort it.

The DM610 is a large bookshelf/standmount speaker from renowned hi-fi brand B&W, featuring a well-braced 30-litre sealed cabinet with 8-inch mid-bass driver. The larger driver and extra cabinet space create a much better low end range than from most similar speakers. This model allows for either bi-wiring or bi-amplification. These speakers present clean tight bass response, surprisingly clear mids for such a large driver and the pleasant highs that the well-designed B&W tweeter at that time was famous for. They can be driven quite loud, enough for the physical effect of the bass to be felt without audible distortion or a sense of sound compression. Both speakers are in Very Good condition, especially for their vintage. All-original, complete with full grilles (one of which has a small hole, shown in the final photo). Only £125. Collection from Bournemouth BH6 preferred. Here comes the science bit… Type: 2-way closed, shelf speaker Colour: Ash black veneer Dimensions: 490 x 236 x 303 mm (H x W x D) Weight: 7.8 kg Recommended amplifier power: 30-150 W Frequency response: 70 - 20,000 Hz (±2 dB) Crossover: 2500 Impedance: 4 Ohm

I got the same call - was just about to post here about it. Wasn't expecting that, I ordered it last night with the only delivery option being next day (which I assumed would be Tuesday). I'm not in any rush.

Hi Rog, I had, for some years, a fretless USA Sub. I bought it off here, as I recall. But it was a conversion. Perhaps it was this one that you saw? I have no recollection of seeing a factory fretless from this series, but others may have more info. Cheers Crispin

Nice, just scored a Lionel myself, will put up a thread.

LeftyJ replied to Baloney Balderdash's topic in Bass Guitars
There's a lefty version too, and I've contemplated getting it but they only offer it in black I would get the shell pink version in a heartbeat if they announced a lefty. They're rather lovely, and the current (second) iteration had a nice hardware upgrade, now sports a pickup selector (the first version only had volume and tone, and both pickups were fully on at all times) and a bound roasted maple neck that looks lush.
