No. Edit not with the pups at or near max volume.

I'm not convinced those differences would be very obvious in the context of a live performance.

Great for home recording or podcast. Fostex PMO.3 powered monitors. With separate Fostex PC1 volume control. Great little monitors. The power unit has recently been repaired, and they’re good to go. £50 T.Bone SC400 condenser mic, boxed and unused with cradle. £30 Studiospares mic isolator cube. Clever little thing. Never used. £20 Focusrite itrack dock Lightning connection but adapters available for usb-c, etc £40 iPad not included. £100 for the lot. I'll throw in a mic stand too if you want it. All packed in a neat wheeled suitcase with extending handle. £100 collected, or delivered/meet up round Bath/Bristol area.

My bad, i meant the 50's gold/burst/maple one, one of my favourtite P bass colour combos. Assume it was called a 57?

I’ve been looking on Keisel’s website. Some VERY tasty options on their bass builder page… 😎

The downside is that it adds another potential point of failure where the two cables join.

MarkBass Little Mark IV and MB58R 102 Energy cabs
BassAdder60 replied to BassAdder60's topic in Amps and Cabs
My MB58R 102 Energy arrived and my first reaction was wow how light it is one hand lift of a 2x10 cabinet is possible ! Its nicely built and more robust than I thought ( some reviews say it’s not tough enough but I disagree it’s robust if you take care of your gear ) Looks very smart too and I like the size of it, narrow, very deep and tall enough. 400w RMS rated which is good for a single cab Patiently waiting for my amp to arrive before I can try it out -
Really cool! I was born in 83 and if i could buy a birth-year bass, it would be that model! And i also play 6 strings exclusively now: Ibanez SR1206 and a recently rescued Peavey Grind 6 which i plan tu turn into a fretless...

There used to be a page on Barefaced's website about mixing cabinet and amp ratings. It's gone now sadly so you cannot verify what I'm relaying, but it basically boiled down to that you can pair any powered cabinet with any powered amp, if you're sensible. If the cabinet rating is higher than the amp rating, then you're not reaching the cabinet's full potential. Any online information about how distorted waves coming from an underpowered amp break a cabinet just aren't true. If the amp rating is higher than the cabinet rating, then the amp has the potential to blow the speakers. However, with sensible usage you will be fine as the speakers will be telling you that they are unhappy with unpleasant distortion, particularly on the low notes. Only caveat to that is when you put an aggressive HPF in the signal chain and you reach the thermal limit rather than the excursion limit of the speaker. With decent drivers such as in the Barefaced or LFSys ranges, you'd have to be absolutely ragging them for that. This Barefaced page is still referenced on their Info pages, but the actual page is no longer there. Are we to read into that?

OK. When the LP switch is in the centre position, both hot signals from the pickups are connected to the output. Do the LP tones still work independently with both pickups connected?

I have absolutely no affiliation to the seller, but this looks like a good deal: Fender American Standard Jazz Bass Left-Handed 2009 3-Color Sunburst https://reverb.com/item/91276145?utm_source=android-app&utm_medium=android-share&utm_campaign=listing&utm_content=91276145

Up for grabs are a trio of amplitube pedals in excellent boxed as new condition. X-Vibe modulation X-Time delay X-Space reverb They come with the plugin versions of the units so you can get your exact plugin sounds in pedal form for live sets. Amplitube are really smashing everything out the park these days and these units are no exception. They sound superb. Thanks for looking. £165 each. posted to your door.
