I was listening to this (with headphones), a fb friend posted this. And here it is again. KEXP plays some eclectic stuff. -
ChatGPT -> can you put this in English for the hard of understanding please?

I have tried to put together a rig that helps a good sound engineer get the bass done in the soundcheck as quickly as possible. I also try to make it as idiot proof as possible, to make it difficult for a not very good engineer to f*** things up! Bear in mind that most venues aren't so bad that you have to do more than minor tweaks, assuming that you have realistic EQ settings to start with. I also use a gramma pad when feasible (i.e. 95% of gigs) and I have a HPF at the front of my signal chain. I rarely get any problems these day and any tweaks needed for the room tend to be pretty minor ones.

Fender Jazz Bass Special Electric Bass Guitar made in Japan

Select a picture to open it. Tap on it twice. That opens up to more than the full screen, enabling you to use the cursor to closely inspect the pictures. They can actually be zoomed to pretty much life size. Perhaps LowEnd Lobster's demo bass has not had the rosewood nourished. The board on mine is excellent rosewood that is fully nourished. I maintain my basses in top condition as anybody who has bought from me will know. -

My 80s band had a go at Atomic and I found those runs harder than the bass solo. ISRT it was slightly easier on the five-string but it was still a toughie. We ditched it after we couldn't agree on the structure. The 7" version seemed a bit short, the full-length one just went on and on and on, and we couldn't find a happy medium.

Hahahahahahaha. It is fine. Not the music I love the most, but it is fine. What I really enjoy is playing with the people in the project -

Chris contacted me to ask if I’d consider selling a spare 6SL7 tube that was bundled in one of my pedal sales. I had a think about it and agreed. All the details were sorted swiftly with prompt payment, and clear and friendly communication. I’d happily transact again. Many thanks.

Welcome Hana. You may have been reading about a "reverse P". This is where the E and A string pickup is nearer to the bridge than the D and G pickup instead of nearer the neck on a standard P. This results in a slightly thinner sounding E and A string relative to the D and G.

Thanks to @MichaelDean and @EBS_freak for the advice. It looks like I will be ordering a set of Comply Memory Foam tips, to see if these will act as an effective upgrade for the ZS10s. These tips are compatible with the ZS10s https://www.complyfoam.co.uk/products/isolation-series-500-core-memory-foam-earbud-tips?variant=38150374260934 I will report back with my findings. And if the Comply tips don't help, then I will follow @spyder's lead and invest in the 215s. Generally, it was interesting to hear that different people have different preferences for in-ears - there is no "best", only "differently suitable".

Does Your Covers Band Change Songs? What Changes and Why?
tauzero replied to Sean's topic in General Discussion
That's an awkward one - IMO unless you're a tribute band the 9 minute album version is too long but I don't want to lose a verse, so we're working on a hybrid using all the verses and choruses but with the short version of the instrumental from the single version. -

I'm not sure The Who ever played it the same way twice! If you find live recordings, or some of the alternate takes, it sounds like the solo sections were used as a space to jam, and the cut that made the album was just their preferred take...as long as your singer can get the scream right at the end, I'm sure the audience won't mind a bit of ab-lib!
