One of my friends despises him 😆.He likes him as much as I ‘like’ Corden . I don’t dislike Miranda ,but she seems very wooden like. Sherwood Forest and very one dimensional with the on purpose gormless look. She is about as funny as Mel and Sue . ( is it Mel?🤔) 2 unfunny individuals who seem to have an in joke thing going on that I cannot be bothered to find out what it is .

Hi Pete, I just ran this and my Firefox browser got a very good report. I have Privacy Badger, but also saw a very strong recommendation for Ublock Origin. The guy who recommended CYT thought that Tor, Mulvad and Brave were the best browsers. I've never heard of them. I'm very non technical and all this is a puzzle to me. Thanks for the reply.

I felt enthused enough to think about what I was doing. For regular gigging I had a series of patches with various distortions, flanger, and generators (I play background chords and other effects as well), and when playing I switched between them with a external midi controller (as it is unreliable switching patches on the dwarf). There is a huge gap between pedal switches, so your post made me think, why am I even switching patches when I could easily just switch effects on and off. So now I have redone it all into one big more thought out patch, where I just turn on distortions or not (actually switch channels, I have several distortion sections from a mild overdrive to OTT and switch between them), and the synth parts I just switch the midi between the channels - at the moment the only problem is the footswitch switches between bank 1 and bank 2 and I have to remember which is which, for some reason you can't rename the output! At the moment it isnt right, the mild distortion is too mild, the heavy distortion too heavy and the echo is way ott, but enough that I can gig it and after each gig I can modify it.

I've printed mine and they assume a square edge. I think I'll do some rounding on the dges and do a redesign of them Rob

Hi, everyone This works and I’ve been using it for a few years as a home practice amp. It’s a bit overkill for a bedroom amp as it’s LOUD = so I use the -15dB pad attenuator. Randomly the amp will have no sound output or go very loud- this is fixed by power off and on again. It can run for hours fine, or happen after 10 mins of use which is annoying. Pots/switches seem to be scratchy, so are getting worn or need cleaning etc. When working it’s a great sounding amp. Wedge shaped cab which can be used as an angled monitor. Scrambler overdrive circuit works well with clean blend Output Power (RMS): 40 Watts at 4 Ohms Speaker Type: 10" Ampeg custom speaker Dimensions (H x W x D): 478mm x 406mm x 330mm Weight: 14.0 kg Price includes postage

Also because the plastic corners do need a rounded edge, or at least the ones I’ve used did.

General consenus and 'the rest could be anything'? People do change their pickups - just look at this site - there's hundreds of people swapping out pickups. If you have a look at the photos of the Gardiner Houlgate auction and compare to the Gumtree bass, I'd say everything matches except the Gumtree bass has - for some reason - P90 pickups in it. As I said in the original thread I posted, that seller doesn't seem to stock junk. He's had some spectacular kit through.

We've got quite a lot of strange perspex boxes made by our workshops (for laboratory experiments). It's heavy and prone to cracking, but you could certainly do it with the right cutting blades and drill bits. But if you wanted it to sound good you'd need some kind of wadding inside which might spoil the look.

The DM610 is a large bookshelf/standmount speaker from renowned hi-fi brand B&W, featuring a well-braced 30-litre sealed cabinet with 8-inch mid-bass driver. The larger driver and extra cabinet space create a much better low end range than from most similar speakers. This model allows for either bi-wiring or bi-amplification. These speakers present clean tight bass response, surprisingly clear mids for such a large driver and the pleasant highs that the well-designed B&W tweeter at that time was famous for. They can be driven quite loud, enough for the physical effect of the bass to be felt without audible distortion or a sense of sound compression. Both speakers are in Very Good condition, especially for their vintage. All-original, complete with full grilles (one of which has a small hole, shown in the final photo). Only £125. Collection from Bournemouth BH6 preferred. Here comes the science bit… Type: 2-way closed, shelf speaker Colour: Ash black veneer Dimensions: 490 x 236 x 303 mm (H x W x D) Weight: 7.8 kg Recommended amplifier power: 30-150 W Frequency response: 70 - 20,000 Hz (±2 dB) Crossover: 2500 Impedance: 4 Ohm

Si I've tried using perspex once and I'm not looking to do it again. It's a difficult material to work with and the use of power tools was really tricky. I gave up as things splintered and scratched. However other people may be far better at it than me. Rob

Ah bummer I keep forgetting the imgur issue. Somehow I can't get them uploaded on Basschat itself, keep getting error -200.

To stop chipping and make it more pleasant to handle. Very easy with a router. Also paint won't take well on sharp corners. 12mm is good.

Not seen this particular tool before, but EFF has a long and positive history so I'm inclined to trust them. My firefox browser gets a pretty good report. I guess it might be useful if you get a bad report and change your browser security model because of it. If this really bothers you, you should probably be looking at Privacy Badger, another of their tools.
