The Real Thing by Faith No More. I haven't listened to it in years and forgot just what a masterpiece it is. One of the all time great rock record, id put it up there with Led Zeppelins best. Billy Gould deserves more recognition as a great bassist.

For sale is the Microtubes B7K Ultra V2 which has the AUX input as well. Great sounding pedal with amazing ability to sculp both the tone on the preamp side and the distortion on the drive side of the pedal. There is some very impressive sounds that can be had out of this pedal. The pedal comes with the original box and all the goodies that came with it. I bought this pedal 3-4 years ago but the sound is a bit too much for the bands I am in. I was always hoping to use it but it has literally sat in the box the whole time. I had thought I might use it also as an emergency DI for gigs but I have never needed it. Possible pedal trade options would be Origin Effects DCX or IE Frantabit. If I was playing heavier music this pedal would absolutly be staying. £270, £250, £230 including postage. Bank transfer or PayPal F&F.

Had a strange one at our gig on Sunday. Starting the second half, I unmute all the channels I’m using on the X-Air Edit software on my Surface Go, but the main vocal remained muted? Looked at the connected X-Touch to see the mute light glowing away. Somehow, and for the first time in my experience, the X-Air Edit software and the X-Touch were out of sync. I’ll do some further testing before this weekends gig and report back. Meanwhile, would anyone like to talk me out of upgrading my XR18 to the x32 rack?

I’m not that far behind you age wise Daryl, and left a very successful band a couple of years ago. I now play mainly in a duo with one of my best friends, and am still enjoying doing gigs which, happen to pay well. If this was to end, I think I’d struggle to find anything similar, so would probably do the dep thing if I wanted to continue playing live. I don’t rely on the gigging I currently do, but it would leave me worse off financially if it folded, so I understand your dilemma. I’d stick with it if I were you, whilst maybe looking around for something to fall back on should things not work out.

Baloney Balderdash started following How to Mod a Joyo Oxford Sound to Bypass Cab Sim Filter?
-
After having bought a used original Tech 21 Oxford I discovered that I much prefer how it sounds without the build in cab sim filter engaged (it is one of the newer versions where this is switchable), but I'd love to have a backup, and I do own 2 Joyo Oxford Sound pedals. So my question is: Do anyone here know how to mod the Joyo Oxford Sound to bypass the build in cab sim filter circuit? And if so would they care sharing the detailed instructions of how to do so? Just for the record I won't bother installing a switch, I am just interested in hard bypassing the build in cab sim filter circuit of the pedal permanently.

That's great advice, especially the bit about describing you as a bassist who moved to China (and one with a well documented fascination with and knowledge of graphite necks) as opposed to just another manufacturer. Good luck with it all @Kiwi -
If the price and animal considerations of the Doc Martens were putting you off @Happy Jack these are much cheaper and vegan 😁 https://www.tukshoes.co.uk/products/black-leopard-vlk-sneaker

Looks good so far. Only thing I'd recommend is to help people build trust with you would be a bit more personalisation on the 'about' page. A picture of you with one of the necks, maybe a bit about you having moved to China and so forth helps people realise where you're coming from and the face behind the business. You wouldn't want UK/US/EU customers being put off (wrongly) because they see it's a Chinese company and become wary for whatever reason. It would also be great to see more of the process, workshop, materials etc. In time, testimonials and warranty/support info would be reassuring, too
