  1. Past hour
  2. No. The 'reverse' TRs are nearly always on basses 91 or earlier (not encountered a 92 that is reverse) and it is defo NOT all Warwicks of this early period... just some!
  3. I'm not into Fiesta Red... but damn.
  4. My '90 & '91 Thumb basses are anti clockwise to tighten the (removable) rod, but I have reversed the rod in one so as to force forward relief when tightened.
  5. Up for sale is one of Japanese finest and almost never seen in Europe, a Sugi NB5 handmade by Sugi Guitars/Nick Sugimoto. You might have heard of them as they also build the bloody expensive Ibanez custom shop guitars and basses like the Adam Nitti, Gary Willis or Geral Veasley signature models. The craftsmanship and level of detail is as good as it gets. Neck Material: Hard Rock Maple x Walnut x Aqua Timber Maple x Walnut x Hard Rock Maple Fingerboard: Indian Rosewood Scale Length・Radius: 889mm (35") 500R Fretwire: SANKO SBB-207 Body Top Material: Flamed Maple Body Back Material: Swamp Ash Tuning key: Gotoh GB350S (Sugi Original) Bridge: Gotoh 304SBO-5(18mm saddle pitch) Sugi Original, Gold Pickups: Sugi Original Single coil WJ5/N, Wooden Casings Wiring: Volume x2 , Master Tone x1 , Side Jack, Wooden Knobs Color: Stained Seethrough blue Weight: ≈ 4.1 Kilogramms Strings: Original Fodera Nickels .130-.045 Case: Sugi Original Semi-Hard Case included The condition is like new, I am the first owner. It has been one of my main basses for the last two years but I do take obsessively good care of my instruments. Everything works flawlessly, truss rod, pick ups etc. and the fretwork is perfect. Love this bass but there some other priorities at the moment. Price is 2750 Euros. Shipping throughout Europe is no problem. If you have any questions, just PM me.

  6. Thanks @Richard R. I’ll pencil myself in. Oooer missus.
  7. Interesting little postscript to the general sentiments about G&L being a bit crap at marketing/artist relations. I saw awesome kiwi pop-punk band The Beths at the Roundhouse last night (they were amazing). For the last seven or eight years, their singer/songwriter Liz Stokes has exclusively played a black G&L Tribute-series Fallout (I'm pretty sure it was the only electric guitar she owned). As far as I know, G&L have never mentioned her or done anything with her. On this tour though, Liz was playing something new – a coral pink quirky looking sorta fenderish thing that I don't recognise. The Fallout was relegated to a stand at the back of the stage and only used for one song (presumably in an odd tuning). Feels like an opportunity that was missed.
  8. Theyre only for local people, so you’re okay there. The rest of us are however persona non grata
  9. Totally agree . I'll try and do a video comparison before selling the other basses.
  10. Probably 👍
  11. Thanks for getting back to me . I was in 2 minds whether I need this or not . I have ltd space . I also have various effects ( single , and zoom b3/ old boss me8b etc) I have a Roland sampler ( which really need to get my head around) , which although it takes batteries and mains, does plug directly into my Mac.. The idea I had was to say goodbye to the me8-b and use this as the modern replacement. Apologies for the long winded response, but GLWTS !
  12. Orange 4 Stroke 500 for sale as spares or repairs. Won’t switch on, may be an easy fix for someone who knows what they’re doing.
  13. BassBros '63 Jazz bass 😍 And I'm only £18k short of the asking price too!
  14. As mentioned it’s recommended that you get new moulds taken every 5 years or so as your ears will continue to change. If you’re wanting new ears I fully recommend The Custom IEM Company. They carry a few brands that they believe to be the best (in sound and build quality), after years in business, and you can book a demo session to try out whatever you like and then decide on which ones you want to go for. Then they’ll take the moulds and sort everything out for you. The turnaround for my Ultimate Ears was just over a week from impressions to them arriving at my door.
  15. Just goes to show that a decent B is about far more than scale length
  16. From left to right M7 35 inch Pasini ( wood& tronics) 34 inch Ramsey di Piazza 34 inch Squire vm70 34 inch Ibanez btb 33 inch And the S Martyn 30 inch The Martyn is the only bass I will keep all the rest will go . It has the most detailed b string ,second best the Ramsey and third the m7. The comfort of playing a 30" six it's something of another level. I don't mind switching in between scale length but since the s Martyn has arrived I don't play any of the other basses
  17. Today
  18. One way or another we'll get them all to fit in. No children left behind
  19. Have a bump on me - these things are awesome
  20. Trying to rationalise only having two P Basses I assume 🙂
  21. It was a hastily chosen simile... don't read too much into it
  22. are all Warwicks the wrong way then? I'm sure both my adam clayton basses are normal
  23. Colour me interested. Both those rough ideas of dates are OK for me at the moment, but bear in mind that, for me at least, gig dates for next year are starting to come into next year's calendar. Kudos for avoiding May, this may not have been your motivation, but that's roughly when the NW England bash has happened for the last couple of years.
  24. Hmmmm…..these intrigue me…..will check the piggy bank
  25. Disneyland is awful…
