  2. Bought a Q Strip off Ian. Pedal was sent asap and was perfectly packaged. A pleasure to deal with.
  3. Sometimes i don't get that London humour and it goes right over my head. Even tho my drummer is a Londoner. πŸ˜‚ Dave
  4. Tiny eyes. Reeves and Mortimer
  5. It β€˜should’ be from a Squier Sonic P Bass. No other markings apart from a spaghetti logo which has to have been done be a Luthier - it’s as good as any I’ve seen including USA Fender - which it obviously is not, but it’s an incredible neck.
  6. Part exed my Stingray with Bob. The madman drove 3 hours from Wales to show me how to make the Stingray sound as it should through the lovely little Aguilar TH500 we swapped and drove back again. The man has constitution if nothing else! πŸ˜„ Lovely guy, pleasure to deal with. Thanks, Bob!
  7. 100% one of the best shops i've ever dealt with albeit only the once or twice. Always gets back to you when you make an enquiry, extremely helpful on the phone. Just doing things the right way. This has put me in the mood for a Limelight bass now. Darn it. Dave
  8. Hi Folks, Echoing all the uber-positive feedback above for David, aka, @MungoBass, who I've just bought an Hughes and Kettner Red 5 DI/cab simulator 'thingamajig' from... .. To be honest, I've no idea what it does, or how to use it, but it's exactly as described and it looks really cool... πŸ˜† Anyway, back on topic, David's a great person to deal with, super-quick delivery and good comms throughout.. All in all, s credit to the Basschat community! And yes, this InPost thing is really good isn't it @Owen.... 😁 Anyway, thanks again David and all the best for now! πŸ™πŸ˜Š Nik
  9. Lovely Fender Squier Bronco Bass in rare lime green finish. Bought direct from Fender as I could not find the colour anywhere else. The bass has been upgraded by fitting a Warman bass humbucker in place of the standard single coil pickup which sounded a bit thin. This has transformed the sound of the bass which now sounds like a Fender should. Also fitted is a Hi Mass bridge and a cheeky fender logo. It is in great condition and looks great with the Lime green and Maple neck. Complete with a Marcus Miller deluxe padded gigbag which is a perfect size and fit. Will come with original strap buttons and the original bridge and pickup. I gigged it once and it delivered on playability and sound as well as looking the part. Appreciate it's not for everyone but it is a great instrument and well worth the asking. UK shipping for Β£15

  10. That's the biggest 2.5GHz wireless transmitter I've seen.
  11. Hi everyone. Ive had my BB1100 for a little while and it plays really nicely but I can't seem to get pickup height right. I do tend to dig in quite hard whether playing with a pick or fingers and im getting pops and cracks as if the strings are touching the pickup poles. Is it normal to need to set the pickups quite low? Ive got about 3mm between strings and pickups at the moment.
  12. I've had both the Fishman Platinum EQ and now use EBS. Both are great pieces of kit (especially as a high impedance input for EUB piezo pickups). The EBS won't "sound better" but is a more versatile tool if you need to blend 2 inputs or switch between two inputs with full separate EQ filters etc. If I had EUB with piezo pickup, I'd save the money and get the Fishman. But as soon as I'm looking it microphones, multi-input blending or multi-instrument switching, then I'd pay the extra for the EBS every time.

  14. Thank you buddy, very much appreciated πŸ™‚
  15. Good spot, will amend the post! Yup, made on the same line as the Fender Japan basses as I understand it
  16. Best preamp I've ever used. The sound I've had in my head ever since I started playing. Would buy it again if I could!
  17. I was actually just thinking that I would like to try a DCX with my Origin SV πŸ€” If I can shift some gear then I will be in touch!
  18. Ashdown CL-310-DH in good condition with some scars/tears to the Tolex covering from normal gig use. Surprisingly easy to shift about given it has two built in wheels at the rear and an inbuilt grab handle (had to use some older photos from when I bought it and a stock photo to show the rear as it lives in storage since I moved house last Oct). Born of an idea by Guy Pratt, who uses two, here's the Ashdown info on it... "Inspired by classic PA cabinets, the CL-310-DH delivers 450 watts at 8 Ohms with a unique dual-chamber design: one 10" driver for punchy focused mids and two rear-ported 10" speakers for extended low-end rumble. Dual 3-way adjustable horns add clarity and articulation, heavy-duty wheels, grab handles, Bronco Tolex and a vintage red grill cloth." Here are the Ashdown specs... Power Handling: 450 Watts Impedance: 8 Ohms, Neutrik speaker connections Speakers: 3x10” (dual-chamber design), 1x sealed driver β†’ punchy, focused mids, 2x rear-ported drivers β†’ extended low-end rumble Horns: Dual 3-way adjustable HF horns (High / Low / Off) Dimensions: H: 990mm, W: 349mm, D: 324mm Weight: 25.6kg Obviously, it'd need collecting, but happy to do a halfway meet for a few quid petrol money if not too far and a reasonable distance.
