  2. Useful piano player, that HJ. Certainly knows his chords.
  3. Not on a fretless no ……..
  4. Dingwall Super P, 4 string bass in Sonic Blue. Canadian made in 2024. Alder body, full wenge neck and fretboard. Condition is excellent - I cannot see a mark on it. Weight is 4.1kg. Comes with original case, accessory bag, tools and strap locks. Very reluctant sale, but it’s not getting played. Collection from my home in Upper Norwood preferred, but can courier at cost. Thanks for looking!

  5. Also - BC advises putting ownership into the pictures (like including a post-it note with your BC handle or something) so the pictures can't be used to rip someone off elsewhere (or on here)
  6. You and half of Basschat, as near as I can make out. 😶
  7. Demolition Man - The Police
  8. Year started playing: 1983 Number of basses: 5 Music theory: Did grade V theory 40+ years ago... Technique: 1. Or 10, depending on the criteria! Not many folks seem to play in the same way as me, though that may be with good reason! Groove: Yes. Mostly.
  9. I had something similar in the 70' but foolishly sold it for peanuts. Too much hwft for me these days GLWTS I'm still recovering from missing your Mike Lull 😭
  10. Smash It Up! - The Damned
  11. Prefer Saturday 8th but can do Sunday 9th.
  12. Just watching the Ray Cooper tambourine masterclass (otherwise known as Don't Let the Sun go Down on Me). What a pro!
  13. both to good to be sat in the shelf both £100 posted
  14. Really, reallt teensie ones.
  15. eBay, I think. I measured the distance between the strap button and the top of the bass, then from that edge to the bridge. I think it was for a guitar, but it works perfectly...
  16. Which? The ashtrays or the creme? Or both?? Tis a nice bass.
  17. It's a shame and as a JHS endorsee, where will I get my strings from now The MD is past retirement age but was still working when I last spoke with him. He was, in fact, the rep that visited the shop I worked in back in the last 80s early 90s Also a shame for the staff, I know what it's like trying to sell a business and sometimes it's just easier to close it down but it leaves people out of work Good luck to the staff and to the MD in retirement
  18. I never got round to building this, it's a programmable eurorack module that does lots of things such as LFO's, chord generation, random generator, arps etc. Full details here - https://allensynthesis.co.uk/modules/europi.html https://github.com/Allen-Synthesis/EuroPi Includes pretty much everything you need to build it - chips, screen, Raspberry Pico Pi etc etc - you just need the resistors and capacitors. Price includes postage
  19. I can throw in the official Line 6 PSU too
  20. Today
  21. I had an unlined fretless precision bitzer which I build over 20 years ago. The neck was really nice with a dark ebony board, however I never really took to fretless and I have not played it for a long time. A few weeks ago I fitted a Fender fretted neck to it and it is currently at the Gallery having the nut cut. The fretless neck is now packed away safely in a Fender neck box while I decide what to do with it.
  22. I'm actually surprised at how cool that looks.
  23. Don't P-Basses have slightly wider frets or have I been believing something wrong that I was told about a long time ago 🤣
  24. Smaller frets?
