Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 These are great amps well known for their tonal versatility and power to weight ratio. It is in excellent working condition with a few minor scratches and blemishes to the casing. Pickup preferred so you can try it through my cab but I’m happy to post at buyer’s expense in the UK only. It comes with mains lead and a gig-bag the rubber feet are missing from the amp and I suspect they were taken off so it would fit neatly in the bag. I’d consider trades on a Bergantino 12 cab, Markbass LM head or even a Nano. I’ve reduced the sale price as I have my eye on a cab.

He also did the percussion. I worked with him quite a few times, a larger than life character. Would sit in the control room and listen to the track a few times while his roadie setup a table of all his percussion bits. A stereo mic setup. Then he would go out and perform this amazing tapestry of percussion. Great bloke.

Luis Jardim RIP on bass, such an important record to me that blew me away as a kid back in late '85. -

I got one from Peach, arrived today. Honestly, just a little bit disappointed. Maybe I didn't get the settings right but it seems like I will have to change my technique a reasonable amount to use this thing. It feels turgid and sluggish. I did switch it to 4-string tracking. Are people plugging straight into it, or are you using compressors and so on first? I've just plugged my P bass straight into it.

I've sold a few redundant bits of kit recently and taken a punt on this. It arrived yesterday, 4hrs later into rehearsal. Sounds great on the presets so far. Guitarists reacted positively...

Not unreasonable, maybe out of touch. Yours makes perfect sense, but that is not the new way, or the common sense of others who may see the Buy two and send one back to be the new normal - but check the returns policy, might be liable for return postage. Epi SG EB0 Case or Bag?

Possible arthritis in my fingers - any help or experience?
Lozz196 replied to jonnybass's topic in General Discussion
I’ve developed arthritis in the top joint in my left thumb over the last year or so and similarly a change in my fretting hand technique has really helped. -

I use mono cases with multiple Sandbergs, fit perfectly and unless you specifically need a flight case are more than protective enough for touring.

Thanks for the Feedback, it's good to hear your views which have helped me get over my intitial irritation. If I'm going to spend a good sum of money on a bag/case then I think I'll go for the Gibson shaped case for both sturdy protection and good fit. Looks like I'll be buying direct from Gibson as I can't find a pre owned in this Internet!!!. Cheers Charla

So cheeky to use that “R” - it’s *exactly* the same as the Rikkers guitars guys - based in the Netherlands. looks like a lovely bass, saw it over on FB.
