that’s great , and really happy to support, but if we don’t know about it we can’t go and see you 😁

You're correct Daryl. He just couldn't be bothered to put the effort in. He's done a couple of gigs in a new band and used almost our entire old set. There was one new song that he just played basic rhythm on and let the lead guitarist sing instead.

5 String Bridge Covers (Precision)

I found that link a while ago, but when you add it to the basket it says it's no longer available! So close. -
No thanks to fingerstyle! I'm happy with a pick for what I play 😉 And yes, I'm committed to a 5 now. Actually picked up a spare one a few days ago. And haven't touched a 4 string for a year...

I'm curious whether there are any basses out there that combine all three of these characteristics, and not simply one or two? There are clearly a growing number of multiscale headess basses, but I've never heard of any that were also neck-thru - maybe there's a technical limitation that would prevent such a construction method? So, I thought I'd ask all of you; does such a bass exist, and if not, is there a scientific reason why not? Thank you.

I love my 1900's 2eg 4 string Ray. Initially I had the week G string, but fixed it by adjusting the pole pieces too. I run it on full bass and 70% treble. Some light eq settings on my amp to suit but always a low mid boost. It cuts through the mix of our 3 piece band where the guitarist likes a muddy bassy sound. I get a lot of compliments on my sound and our drummer says it's the best sounding bass he's heard on stage. The neck is just right for me and it's such a joy to play.

Oh that's a shame, was that with matched sensitivity on the horn to compensate? Might work better with the smaller cabs, assuming they use the same HF driver, might have more leeway. Stacking speakers in mirror when vertical seems less than ideal on a cramped stage because it takes the tweeters lower. Plus they still don't add entirely coherently. Splitting hairs on bass guitar I guess. But then that's what really good speakers are about!

Fran from Wave Pictures is famous to the people that turn up to see them 🤩 He has been playing the same old hofner every time i've seen them, which is more than any other band I've seen over the last decade. He's a fine player and the band are a phenomenal 3 piece. More people should go to see them

Bravo! Is that the first ever use of "antimacassar" on BC? Weirdly enough I had reason to use the word antimacassar only this morning. They're like busses!

Running a second no horn cab below adds 6dB to the low frequency sensitivity. For it to sound right requires turning up the HF horn by 6dB, if it has that ability. Lobing isn't an issue if the two cabs are built mirror imaged, so you can set them with the HF horns adjacent rather than separated. I don't see manufacturers doing that, for inventory reasons, but it's simple enough if you build your own.

I am probably letting too much out, but this was something that @stevie @Phil Starr and I have discussed in the past and on a trip to LFSys Worldwide Headquarters, we tried it out on a couple of identical cabs, with no horn on the lower cab but with all else the same. It did not sound that good.

The knob directly corresponds to the "ENV OUT" CV jack that right is next to it (in the simplest terms, the more the red LED next to the ENV switch goes bright, the closest to 5V the voltage in that jack goes). Plus let's be honest, it's primarily an Eurorack synth pedal made by a company that does a very consistent design, and that sometimes forces them to render form that thwarts function. 😁 But I absolutely agree. This pot would be way easier and safer to use as a regular one.
