  1. The offered bass is primarily known as a 5-stringer. The four-string version is significantly rarer and especially difficult to find with a "Maple Neck." Therefore, the bass is also interesting for collectors. But "players" take note: The pickups were specially developed for the bass and sound very good. For each pickup, there is a parallel/single coil/series switch. In addition to the volume and tone controls, a three-way switch allows for combinations of the two pickups. If both pickups are activated, you can pull the tone control, which makes the neck pickup slightly quieter. This also allows for classic Jazz Bass sounds. Check the Sounds here on YouTube Sound-wise, the bass can cover Preci, Jazz Bass, and Sting Ray sounds, not 1:1 of course, but with its own charm. In the following video, you get an impression of the sound variety. Superb Bass on Custom Shop Level. Don´t miss out!
  2. Thanks for the replies. @WinterMute Not fixed DI Gain but direct monitoring has a fix Volume. I could adjust Volume with my Origin Bassrig but the Overall Volume could be too low. I like the Design of the Volt 2 way more. Since I want the DI Sound from my Pedalboard, I Do not realy care about 4k or Vintage Preamp Mode but that could change in the Future
  3. That sounds good and helps, thanks! You control the main Volume with the big knob and mixing the Signal between direct und USB, right? So the direct monitoring sound can have a high volume?
  4. Hey Guys, I am planning to change my Practice Set Up to work with Headphones. Most of the time I play along SBL Lessons or Songs from Youtube and Spotify. I thought that an Interface would come in handy. I am totally new to this Subject but I found out that I need to run my PC Sounds through the Interface and use direct monitoring to listen to my Bass. I am undecided between a UA Volt 1 or 2 and a SSL2(+). The SSL2 has that nice direct monitoring blend knob and a higher Input Gain. The Volt 2 has a fixed direct Input Volume, which is a disadvantage I guess but works great with iPhones and Ipads. So in the end it comes down to Headphone Amp Quality and Direct Monitoring Feature. Had anyone the chance to play through both and could suggest the best choice? Maybe relevant information could be that I got a Bassrig Super Vintage on my Pedalboard I want to connect. I am gonna use Audio Technica M50x or Beyerdynamics HD 900 Pro X Headphones. Thanks very much in advance! Kind regards
  5. @Sumatra Hey Luca, my Bathroom Scale says 3.9kg so about 9lbs seems right. I would say it is 60s Position but I can remeassure some distances if you want. @TheGreek Thanks! The Painting is lovely and reacts beautiful to different lights.
  6. I am selling a special Bass with a lot of Basschat History - owned by some well known members. It is a Alleca Coppolo Jeff Andres Model. probably built for Willie Weeks, who played it on a Clapton World Tour. It is unclear to me, if Jeff Andrews owned the Bass, but there is a YouTube Clip of a Bar Gig, on wich it seems to be this Bass. Quick Facts: -Precision Bass Body with neck width between Jazz and Precision bass -Rossewood fretboard -Alleva Coppolo pickups and active preamp with bass and treble boost -candy apple green nitro finish (matching headstock) -built by Mr Coppolo during his NY era -shown on the NAMM 2009 and used by Mr Weeks for a Eric Clapton Tour -low action, fast neck and gorgeous tone -condition is very good, technically perfect -neckplate says "Prototype" Comes in A Hardshell Case with two aditional Pickguards and some Jazz Bass Knobs. It has Damage in the Finish beside the Neck, but it is only of cosemtic nature. Original Thread by Paulie with some Info Jeff Andrews Gig Asking Price 3000 GBP / 3500€ Bargain for such an special AC Bass.
  7. I am selling a wonderful Precision Bass built by Jimmy Coppolo. The Bass was built for the NAMM 2010 (see pictures). The Bass is with 3730g very light. The Sonic Blue Nitro Laqueur aged very well, you can see it under the Neckplate. It was played and has some marks of use (as documented) but overall is nice looking. Shipped in a non original Case, comes with Chromes and TI Flats. Great Bass for great price. Thats the Price I payed (traded for) and I want to be fair. It is a great Precision Bass but I also got a Pino Signature, wich owns my Heart. Any questions welcome!
