Turnstile are about as hardcore as jam spread on soft, white bread with the crust cut off. They don't appear to have anyting to say, either, unlike the bands Leonard just listed. Lazy journalism mixed with a sad need for categorisation.

Quatschmacher started following New MXR bass synth pedal released
-
Very sensibly pitched. The amount of times I get requests for these very preset sounds on the FI and C4 is crazy. I anticipate these will sell very well. I’ll definitely be checking one out. Nice hands-on control and preset capability.

£289 at Bass Direct - but they've already sold out the few they had. Sounds ace, and with more controls on the front there should be far less faff with secondary functions / apps etc compared to SA pedals.
-
Thanks for that, I didnt want ask Rob or Dawn unless i had to. Cheers Alan

is that an HW or real one? They look good in this colour

Roger And Out - Neil Young

Hardcore pop-punk! They're by no means hardcore, apart from for folks who don't like or know what hardcore is! https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m002fb7q/glastonbury-turnstile-never-enough - this is softer than Green Day! See Exploited, GBH, Black Flag, Minor Threat, Rancid, Bad Religion, Bad Brains, Sick of It All... Or:

walshy started following Shure GLXD16 Wireless

Probably THE best wireless on the market imo. This one was my main until the + came out and it’s just been my spare which tbh I don’t need. Amazing bit of kit, fully working and comes with new charger cable. No box but will be securely packaged up. U.K. postage included or I’ll be down at Brighton Guitar Show on Sat so can bring it with me.

Craig Robinson started following Hartke hydrive 115 cab (inc cover)

The drop out to just drums and bass @5:05 is sublime.

I do like some of her stuff, but I thought her glastonbury performance of "you ought to know" was weak, the rest was sort of ok. Wait until you hear rod

We do a good quantity of Jam/Weller tunes in my current band, the opportunity to employ a raging SVT tone is always welcome, even though he used Marshalls (Ashdown these days I think). I’ve played them on a P, a Mustang and my Maruszczyk J type (split, humbucking, single coil sized p ups, front selected), they all sound spot on, but I’d still love to try them on a Ric (sold my boat anchor 4003s some years ago), so iconic.

This Saturday, Nine Lives are playing at Grays Inn, in Mastrick, Aberdeen. Please come - it's never been a particularly well attended venue in our experience

I think the Ibanez Talman also scratches that P itch, with the J rolled down. -

Just checked, they do still sell them. £18.32 + p&p -
I always thought the title was "Between the sheets" 🙃 Amy Winehouse - Between the cheats | Salaam Remi

I've got an Am pro ii strat which is lovely but I find myself playing the Mexican Baja tele more. My MiM Precision Deluxe Special is my main bass, at the time I bought it I could have got a US Standard Precision (or whatever the US model at the time was called) for a couple of hundred quid more, but preferred the Deluxe, very possibly because of the J neck as well as the active PJ thing. As for the custom shop stuff, the heavy focus on reliced finishes is a real turn off for me, regardless of how the instruments feel and sound so I'm very unlikely to ever want to pick one up

If Status still do them their half rounds are brighter than flats, and not expensive at all!
