Supro Huntington I with Piezo. Stonking basses, incredibly versatile and powerful beast for a short scale passive bass. I bought it used in 2020 but since then have mainly been using detuned 35" 5 stringers, hence the Spectorcore (35") above as my spare. The result is that the supro hasn't left the house since I bought it.

Robin Trower tribute band seeks bassist. No vocals required. Sadly, our bassist has departed. We have transport and practice once a week in Kentish Town, London for the time being. Gigs are pending. Contact me at [email protected] for more details. https://www.bandmix.co.uk/willt6/ Will.

Dave, In my neck of the woods the wedding band business is not what it use to be. Most of that business went the way of the DJ. My ideal gig is much like yours only I'd have to add great accommodations, professional high end sound and lighting and an engaged, appreciative crowd . And the gig would be no longer than 90 minutes. Daryl

More great advice from the BC community, I hope you get your bass fixed 🤞🏼

Ok this was for a project but I no longer need it. This is a brand new Allparts Jazz neck, never installed of used. Since purchasing I have added a Fender Logo supplied by Rothko & Frost and a bone nut. The frets have been dressed, fretboard oiled and it's in beautiful condition. David Wilson then completely finished the neck in lacquer with a lovely tint on the face, his work is outstanding. In total this neck owes me about £600 ish so offering it out at £500 including UK delivery.

I recently moved to another country (Cyprus) and I am trying all my best to secure a job here as musician and I started playing bass guitar because one of my friend here on Cyprus helped me with learning how to do it and send me an invitation for a local job where I just can play music and have fun and earn money

Anyone bought a cheap (Chinese) neck off eBay?
NancyJohnson replied to NancyJohnson's topic in Bass Guitars
Little thread resurrection. Just bought a second neck (different seller); neck arrived about a week ago, just had a second delivery if an Allen Key. This rings a bell; -
Messy or not, what's on your (music) work desk right now?

Wouldn't the vast majority of us have messy music desks? Mine is. Go on mate, you can do it. 😁 -
Sold Mike a strap last week. Absolute pleasure to deal with. Thanks Mike

How was Your rehearsal last morning or night ?
Stub Mandrel replied to nilorius's topic in General Discussion
FP rehearsal. Drummer used his own electric kit rather than the tatty one. No ear protection needed. Went well. -
Given they have the same neckpocket-interface, I tested it via a neck swap. That maple cap makes it way more raunchy, even on the warm PV-pickup.

I think the Ox recorded that using Rotosound tapewounds.

I use the NUX Mighty Plug and am totally happy with it. Yes I'd like the complety wireless option of the more expensive options @tauzero mentions but I don't want to spend that much. I just use a short wire to my headphones so it doesn't get snagged on stuff, it just goes under the neck and up to my headphones without much spare. The Mighty Plug has an app which let's you set up 6 (I think) different patches with amp/cab/effects etc on each patch. You don't need to use the app to use the Mighty Plug, just to edit the patches. You can bluetooth music into it to blend with your basses output. I really like it.

Get them to play some country music backwards. That way they will get their dog back, their truck back and their gal back and won’t notice you left….
