  1. Past hour
  2. I hadn't noticed the Lego theme. The dimples on the top are for the second Basschat speaker. So I could run them together for a little more volume. I suspect that I wouldn't actually put them on top of each other but the option is there just in case. Now that I've seen that I might try and make the lego theme a little stronger 😊now sure how but il ponder on it.
  3. Yes... I associate her with a mustang too.
  4. Fellow Bass players...Clap your hands, tap your feet, and sing along with all the family.
  5. This is Love For Tender. it comes from the album Get Happy. The Attractions were going for a more soulful, 60s pop sound. The production of this album has been criticised - indeed Bruce and Pete were both reportedly unhappy with the recorded sound of their instruments. Fortunately nowadays we can remix any song ourselves and get virtually any sound we want to. As ever any comment or advice is welcome. Love For Tender.pdf
  6. I like it!
  7. Super rare Iron Ether Super FrantaBit - basically two FranaBits in one box, with foot switches to flip flop between them both, as well as switch between Degrade and Obliterate mode. One of the most versatile and sought after Bit Crushers ever made. Grab this now, without the painfully long wait, shipping, and a massive VAT bill when it arrives in the UK! Now £385, inc postage in the UK. Will consider the following trades/part-exs: Hologram Microcosm, Iron Ether Polytope, Providence Anadime Bass Chorus, Pedaltrain Novo 32 (hardcase), Pedaltrain Terra 42 (hardcase), Cioks AC10.

  8. I saw her standing there - artist unknown
  9. A Christmas Bass face and a helping of festive Cheese...
  10. That’s really interesting 👍
  11. I find it helps to add a washer before fitting the dog bone tightener.
  12. I agree about imperial measurements being difficult in some aspects of professional work. Last time I mentioned Absolutely love it. It has a great 'Lego' vibe to it. Nice one.
  13. I’d suggest starting in London. Downing Street might be worth a look
  14. Today
  15. Definitely US. This came from a parts bass made by a Sadowsky employee. No real markings on it to identify as such. The pickups were scrubbed out and headstock left blank for fear of repercussions. I still have the neck - Brazillian rosewood fingerboard, Graphtech nut, Schaller tuners.
  16. I agree. And I've gigged two cabs many times where the lower one is just a shelf. At the SE Bash recently we did a non-scientific "test" with one Monaco vertical-mounted on top of one horizontal. We walked around the room listening to just the vertical and then did the same with the both plugged in. It wasn't particularly loud but it was very revealing with that dispersion going on. @stevie will be able to explain it properly but what I got out of it was that now I'm playing in a band where I need to use backline to fill the room, I'll be thinking more about this and probably taking both of them with me just in case. I know one Monaco is amazing but the pair with one turned through 90 degrees was like another dimension. @cetera and @Wolverinebass were there when we were doing it.
  17. I’ve been looking at this for ages too, looks superb, better with cream pick up covers and the colour is 👌👌👌
  18. So it's ripping off its own Phil Lynott model then.
  19. Looks nice! Doesn't appear te be fireglo indeed, but also not like autumnglo. Autumnglo has a way more soft brownish to yellow fade. This looks more like a traditional burst. Might be a special edition? Anyway, enjoy! 🙂
  20. This is an amazing bass, I love Sterlings and the 5 is very special. This one looks a peach. A great price too. I'd jump at the chance if had the funds and didn't already have one. Anyone tempted should snap this up. GLWTS.
  21. Fantastic cabs and for me, the HD is Bergantino's finest range, if not its lightest. I use the HD210 and it's very probably my favourite cab (and I've had a lot!)
  22. Cost me about £350 back in the day and was the core of my board and IEM setup for a number of years. Essentially it’s a 2 channel mixer with a DI, balanced and unbalanced out for the bass. With a 2nd input for an IEM feed, this input is switchable mono/stereo. So basically allows you to take a really great FOH signal or utter trash. I use to take a passive feed out of the back of PA speakers. There is then a thru for you to pass this feed on to other band members and I’ll include a 4 channel Behringer Headphone mixer (that currently I can’t find the 12v adaptor for) and you have an all in one IEM solution. So you have a control for the bass volume and the feed volume. Allows as I saw above to just grab anything from FOH and you’ll always be able to hear yourself. I do the same now with my Darkglass Anagram and in a pinch Element. Open to offers and as above will chuck in the Behringer 4 ch headphone amp and 2 pairs of 🤷🏻‍♂️ KS10’s (without tips for hygiene purposes) to give you a full wired simple IEM rig for those wanting to try it all out. Can also be used as a headphone amp with a Twelve South Airfly to add Bluetooth. This was made about 15 years ago so to me is noisier than I would like and the pots can be a bit crackly, but I’ve never sprayed any switch spray in there. Just part of my never ending clearout.
