  1. Past hour
  2. Best off trying the Power Flats or Silencers if that's the case.
  3. David introduced me to InPost lockers. So easy! Why have I never used this before? And he posted a book I did not need, but fancied, and it is all good.
  4. Thanks. I like a bit of Fu Manchu. Id just assumed they'd be in C
  5. Pretty sure Fu Manchu use D standard.
  6. Thanks Alex. I wonder if people just think that it's too cheap to be worth considering. If I was still out there gigging I would be perfectly happy using this little amp. Anyway, time for another bump.
  7. I am 280 miles North again by now. But thanks for the offer.
  8. Even if you are late, you are still welcome.
  9. In the past Ive always tuned down to C or lower for anything heavy. I know where im going when its low but the guitarist im playing with now doesn't want to tune more than a semitone below standard. Its a new challenge for me so ill give it a bash but I need some inspiration. Classic 70's and 80's stuff doesn't really do anything for me (Sabbath being the exception) and were not going to be playing thrash, death or black metal. Has anyone got any recommendations for doom and stoner metal in standard tunings? All I can find is Clutch
  10. Possibly overpriced by 100x https://ebay.us/m/ffFDAS
  11. Kits can produce good results, BUT you need some skills to make the best of them.
  12. The Micromix 1 USB is a two channel mixer running from a 5 volt supply. Both channels have gain, volume, treble, bass and pan, but one has variable input gain, and the other has switched gain, and a HiZ function for instruments. It can be powered from a phone charger for stand alone use, or powered from a USB socket on a computer, where it can also be used as a recording interface. If you are interested in IEM's, this unit can mix your bass on one channel with an Aux-out feed from your mixer into the second channel. If you want to try an ambience mic to pick up stage sound, the package includes a basic but serviceable Maplin / Tandy electret microphone. If you want to set up a youngster with a basic recording system, I will also include an instrument lead. Price includes postage within UK mainland. David
  13. Budget?.. Son has a Behringer 'Bang-4-Buck' XM8500, reasonable, was purchased mainly for use with the Boss Vocoder
  14. If you send a video of the item you are selling, he could create his own listing using it, take payment from someone and the buyer who didn't receive it would come after you. There'd be "proof" you were the seller via your video Don't do it. Defo a scammer.
  15. I’m up against mr travis and his all-consuming GEAR maw no chance, I see that bass being dragged to a Manchester address, probably leaving scratch marks on the pavement as it is sucked in like some poor dachshund caught in a wizard of Oz style tornado Briefly. 😛 I Wish I could buy this. GLWTS
  16. On a vid on YouTube they said that SH specified an 80s sounding pickup for this bass, not being that knowledgeable about him does that fall into how his bass would have been before any mods, similar to the bridge?
  17. Nord Electro 4D 61 Keyboard Weighted Waterfall SW61 Superb Nord Electro keyboard - this has all the classic acoustic and electro mechanical keyboards you could wish for for live and studio performances. Rhodes and Wurlitzer electric pianos, acoustic grands and uprights Hammond, Farfisa and Vox organs. It even has Mellotron and Chamberlain samples, plus strings, harps and guitars. This version also has drawbar control. It’s a classic in its own right but still updateable using the Nord site and sample library. Included is the keyboard, user manual, mains lead, damper pedal, sample library on CD plus a nice heavily padded gig-bag. I have added a custom ‘half moon’ switch to control the rotary speaker simulation from the keyboard rather than using a foot switch like an old Hammond. If you collect in person I’ll also include a stand. The price is non-negotiable and sorry no trades. It is feasible to post but only in the UK and at your cost and risk. See pics - I’ve not gigged it but have used it in rehearsals occasionally. To be honest it’s been used at home as a piano and the other wonderful sounds have been wasted! Selling as I use my old Korg live as I’m not worried about it being knocked about and I’m going to buy a simple piano for home use.

  18. Gears Of War - Megadeth
  19. Has been withdrawn it appears, with the reserve having not been met.
  20. The lack of BA bridge and signature pickup can only make sense with the black colour, as his main bass was originally black when he got it, and wouldn’t have had the BA bridge - but then if that’s the case, why not market it as such???? ‘Steve Harris Precision just like when he bought it’ (I’m obvs not in the marketing game)
  21. That is a build diary I would love to see!
  22. Ernie Ball Cobalt Slinky Flatwounds 45 65 80 100 Well used, cut for a StingRay They've been on my Bass for a year or two so they're just getting going. Fifty quid and upwards new, so... £15 posted? Knock a fiver off if you collect from Bewdley DY12
  23. Today
  24. I keep coming back to look at this. Will somebody buy it please!
  25. I like the looks of the old Brown Boss Bass line Free The Tone make incredible gear but no I would not have a manufacturer exclusive board
  26. Any message that is clearly generic ("please show me your product") is always a massive red flag.
  27. I'm still really tempted by this.
