Recently acquired this bass. It's wonderful and essentially brand new, hardly played at all and mint condition. I'm simply not feeling 6 strings any more.... Specs: Body: Ash & walnut top Neck: wenge/bubinga reinforced with titanium rods Fingerboard: 24-fret Scale: 34″ Pickups: Nordstrand Electronics: Ibanez custom 3‑band EQ with mid‑frequency switch and bypass toggle Bridge: Mono‑rail V (16.5 mm spacing) Hardware: Gotoh tuners, GraphTech Black TUSQ nut, gold hardware Comes with the Ibby case which is also as new. Fresh Dadarrio XLs on it Cash is always king but I would absolutely consider trade on a decent P bass Pics nicked from eddking who I acquired the bass from, hope you don't mind matey

@Franticsmurf This should be a documentary or mockumentay or something. I shouldn't say it's great as it was probably traumatic, but it is. A collection of the foibles of human existence. Rob

Hope this help's you . Please send Me more information. All the best Colin . -
Try seeing if Marc will reply via Instagram. That's the only place that the bass product page still exists. It's interesting this debacle actually. What does one do when a small, boutique builder just suddenly stops? If the parts are bespoke say drivers or crossover parts what then?

That common trick! I always remember when you guys at Genz discussed this and that your volume controls are much more 'honest'.

*ahem* It's the one current G&L headstock I don't like the look of though. It's blobby, wonky, and the way the G tuner is positioned just feels like an afterthought. In the past there have been far worse offenses, like the headstocks (and everything else, really) on the Interceptor guitars and basses.

I can't handle watching any videos by that guy. G&L basses and guitars are great IMO. I would have bought one of their USA basses had I seen more stock over here. I do like that they dragged out old paperwork over the past 10 years or so to build close new versions of old designs. It'll be a shame if they go under, but someone will swoop in and buy them.

I second the Elites DBE strings. Got them on a Jack bass which is my back up at gigs. Sound perfectly fine to me.
-
They are NOW, but this is an Indonesian lower level model so doesn't apply.

No, you can use wifi or radio transmitters. Radio transmitters have extremely low latency but sound quality can be 'meh' especially at the lower end of the budget range, but they do work. WiFi systems are all over the place. There's lots of very cheap ones, but latency tends to be higher on those, up to 12ms in some. On their own that might not be a problem, but if you have other digital devices in your signal, all adding their bit of latency, it can get noticeable, but this is very much depending on your use.
