I watched the videos; I have no idea what the fuss is about. either saw nor heard anything at all special, quite the opposite. She appeared to be distracted, trying to do too many things at once, and none of them well. It sems to be a very odd way of playing music, but what would I know..? Not for me, sorry.

I've got a 4-door saloon (the back seats fold down, so I can fit quite a lot in there), a toy car (2 seater with enough space for an overnight bag but that's about it), and tend to have scruffy cheapo (a spare if needed, for jobs to the tip, etc.).

Terry M. started following "higher end" Fender basses

I tried a Squier Affinity Jazz Bass V in a store once followed by a Fender American Ultra ii Jazz Bass V and for the life of me couldn't understand the price difference. I'm not saying the Fender wasn't better but they're both essentially two pieces of wood screwed together (I know I'm gonna pay for saying that 😂). So I too don't know where the price point you mentioned happens either.

Managed to find time to mark up the main board, and mark and centre-punch a lot of the chassis - transformers, output valves, front and rear panels. I've re-positioned some of the rear panel stuff so as to sit between the valve socket positions. I'm leaving the rest until I can test fit some of the components.

Yes... but... she has one of these: https://empresseffects.com/products/zoia I've just spent the last hour going down the rabbit hole of how this is the only path to happiness...

I'm not rolling in it haha 😅. The wife has a car and I occasionally use that, but cannot use it frequent enough for gigs.

warwickhunt started following Behringer X32 as IEM mixer.
-
Well the X32 is here which our band is going to use as an IEM mixer for live work where we do gigs where an engineer will be handling FOH and this is our responsibility. I'm going to start setting it up for basic IEM mixes which the band can then tweak. I have several questions if anyone can assist. 1. Do I set up each of the 6 IE outs independently or are there global settings that I can apply to all output mixes? 2. I'm certainly going to take a stereo IE mix from the X32 (several band members have shrugged and said mono is fine) but is there any benefit to using XLR over 1/4" outputs? My IE transmitter is a combi input and will take either. What are the obvious things that I'll miss and potentially need to do/know about?

Whatever happened to...Pete Vukovic/Vuckovic?

Saw them at Wembley 1999 hugely underrated band, always think about them and what happened, pity that some great bands slip through the cracks, what every they doing I hope they happy 😊 -
Sir Duke. Somehow I've never got around to learning it before. It does shift along a bit! 😂 I'm playing it 3 semitones down so the singist can hit the notes, but on a semitone drop-tuned 5-string. So it's in A as far as I'm concerned (I hope!)

When I first saw the pics I thought the binding was special and I vaguely recall seeing something similar on a Pensa-built creation. Pensa builds at Rudy’s Music Shop……..is that what thethe “R” refers to? Long shot……best I can come up with at present.

Colour is a recurring question in any new acquisition (purchase or trade). If my wife likes it then it’s a green light for me on all other things. Shallow……I hear you say! My wife thinks I’m colour-blind.

IK Multimedia's MODO Drums has a free version. I've also noticed that after isntalling AIR Music / InMusic's free channel strip they've just given away, they now seem to own BFD drums and there's a lite version for free from them too. If you're on a Mac, then Logic's Session Drummer is useable - I guess GarageBand would offer a drum option too, but I havent used that app for ages. I do have EZDrummer 2 & 3, they are, as mentioned, paid options but very, very good. You'll hear a mixture of MODO and Logic Drums on pretty much all of my review videos. I improvise everytihing (badly ha ha) so drum loops are really useful! EZD hasn't featured much, I should get it back on track!

I'm sure something with that same R on the headstock came up just a few days ago on BC and it wasn't a maker that started with R at all.
