  1. Past hour
  2. So the risk is you get an empty box delivered but cant prove it? Unfortunately, it's the other side of the country from me...
  3. Finally just offered up the brushed ali guard I got and I’m super happy with how it looks. Sorta glad I stayed with the silver to be honest.
  4. Ok so took off the pick guard to check out the electronics. They look very puny so I am glad I already ordered a prewired set of CTS/switchcraft electronics from Tiny Tone. Should arrive soon so I can solder them in.
  5. Ok so got the new bridge. Compared it against a Hipshot one on my other P and the BBOT on the Squire. I like it.

  7. No worries that's what I thought, worth a try though. If someone else wants to take the C4 off your hands let me know and take the controller. Cheers
  8. Does the world need another Fender copy with fake aging? And if so what makes this better than all the other Fender copies with fake aging?
  9. Either it’s a brand new seller using eBay for the first time who’s massively underestimated the cost of shipping a bass… or it’s a scammer. If I were seriously interested in that bass I’d want to be making that deal in person either way
  10. There is no magic to having two cabs. The power is split between the cabs giving the drivers an easier time. When you start pushing a speaker, power compression creeps in and close to maximum power will rob you of half you volume. Beyma used to publish power compression graphs for their drivers but as no-one else did, it looked to the layman that they were the only ones that suffered it. The second cab is also closer to your ears and that has to be a good thing.
  11. I would happily to be in a band with either of them because they are both proven to be excellent writers and I do not think their views are unreasonable, some of linemans actions do seem to be highly questionable but to be fair we don't yet know the full story. I would also note that historically many of the most creative people have not just kowtowed to the currently fashionable ideallogys and have dared to question the beliefs they have been pressured to hold whether that be religious orthodoxy, the demonisation of homosexuality, the superiority of their own culture or the trans ideology opposed by the aforementioned public figures.
  12. I got replaced in a band by a beat buddy.... either says a lot about me or my drumming, or both!
  13. It totally depends on what they're selling at any one time TBH
  14. City of evil - Avenged 7x
  15. Ooooooooohh they look amazing
  16. Is this still available?
  17. Thanks - those frequencies make sense to me. And having independent headphone volume from the master is really useful: If I'm in a cramped band pit in a theatre I'm often very close to my cab but also invariably the keyboard player's personal monitor which can blitz out a lot of what I can hear. Being able to run headphones as well as the cab would be very cool. Also just noticed the inclusion of a 9v 250ma power output which would be super useful to run my EQ2 pedal off - only need to bring one power cable!

  19. I’ve just measured the Bex. 55mm at the 12th, 63mm at the heel.
  20. 'He’s regarded as a force of nature in his native Wales'. Great quote
  21. Isn't it nice when you think 'an xxxxx would be handy', and you find it not only exists, but is even better. I felt the need for a Speakon adaptor, for custom lengths and not to be caught out by a wide stage or awkwardly placed monitor again. Yes, they exist! I found cheap copies sold in fours or pairs, but given the application forked out for proper Neutrik. It's lovely, and turns out to have a locking sleeve so you can safely leave it attached to one end of a cable.
